that you don't need to pay tax when you buy the used car from the private
party instead from the dealer. Is that true? I am new one in AZ. Can some
one confirm it for me?

MVD收那个vehicle license tax也不低啊，每年接近3%的样子
难道还要交retail tax @@

发帖数: 23 | 3 As far as I know, offically the buyer and the seller are friends.
They transfer the vehicle as a gift. Since no buying behavior here,
it is no need to pay sale tax. However, when the gift costs >$11,000
you need to pay gift tax :P

发帖数: 47 | 4 i think it's true. just like yard sales. used stuff sold by private parties
are exempt from sales tax. but if you buy a used car from a dealer, you still
need to pay sales tax.

亚利桑那车绝对从私人处买，那里几乎没有风霜雨雪，有基本上都是高速，一般车都保持
得很好。dealer极奸，上次换timing belt时边上停着一辆前头撞得一塌糊涂的新车，我
去取车时那车的外表已经恢复如初了，在dealer那里碰上这种车，就栽了。另外亚利桑那
一般人懂车，会修的很多，找个行家一起去看。
