I personally believe most energy of those Android device makers will be used
to fight against other Android device providers and perhaps WP7 makers
because they may believe ip4's market share has stabilized and will go flat
in long time.
As long as Apple keeps leading in innovative industry design, app ecosystem
and software/hardware integration, it will remain the no.1 in individual
smartphone maker position. After all, its core competency, design, ios and
hardware design, stay in upper part of value chain. |

WP7 will get stronger, undoubtedly. And Android has to give up some market
share which it snapped when our big brother MSFT was sleeping.
Apple's stuff is always superior and always fits into niche market. This
happens to Mac. It has early start in smartphone and tablet market so its
share is larger but won't grow significantly in near future - which is good
to its current customers. It won't shrink too much as well since it holding
considerable technical advantage in this arena.

for the past 10 years. Apple may sell 4.3 million Macs this holiday season.
It only passed 3 million mark for a season not long ago.

发帖数: 685 | 6 Great figures. But 4.3 or 3 doesn't make much diff in its adoption ratio in
all desktop computers. Most desktop computers are and will be windows PC. Of
course Mac is favored by highly technical people, such as college students
or academics. But that in near future cannot change the fact that most
business desktops are PCs.
Another reason is I guess holiday sales is driven by personal consumers
which may be more likely to buy a mac as their home computer.
I believe at most Mac will represent 10% desktop computers.

算上iPad，苹果在美国计算机占有率更高了。
这个要看趋势。苹果已经赚的钱快超过微软了，更是远远超过其它PC厂家。继续保持这

不过我总觉得不会太多-苹果喜欢产品类型精简，这样消费者选择余地较小，毕竟喜欢
苹果的消费者不可能是全部。
另外有数据关于mac laptop vs mac desktop的数量对比吗？
