streaming.
The iphone app plus the apple tv make a good network music/radio player, in
par with the logitech squeezebox.
The video capacity is far behind wdtv etc. due to its close nature.
And 电脑 in the living room is so out.

The set top box should be the smaller the better.
Imagine a desktop computer next to your TV.
Since you can stream videos and contents from your computer, it is not a big
problem. If would be better if Apple TV can stream from a harddrive
connected to Airport Extreme.

I am sure Sony and Samsung are all trying to do this.
Apple may just need to release their own TV if they want to stay in Living
Room business. Therefore the Apple TV is currently still a hobby. May be
good for getting into the market first.

there are technical issues with remote input device.

and iPads combined are ubiquitous. For example, if they open
