发帖数: 28 | 1 我朋友有一台mac os x 10.4 (powerpc)， 现在需要run一个mac os 9下的软件。
从来没有玩过mac os 9, 现在是不是要找到mac os 9的安装盘， 找到那个软件，
然后在mac os x 下run呢？ 有何注意事项？ (you know, windows 7 has xp mode)
我还看到有地方写, 直接run /applications (mac os 9) ->
这个是不是只有装了多系统才有？ 或者 10.1, 10.2才有？
现在暂时无法访问到机器， 求教一下。 |

但是它不能inport email from outlook express.
It only import from outlook, endora, and a few others.

That link talks about outlook express on PC.
OE(mac) and OE(PC) are not compatible (data)
I tried entourage, it can not import from OE
I tried thunderbird, it can not import from OE
I tried converting data format, but it needs a PC with xp, and I have to
give up
Mail on 10.4 can import from OE only if OE is running (really CRAZY).
which means 光有data是不行的， 还得OE running. Oh my god!
10.4下没有OE, 不过既然"Mail"可以从OE import, and OE should be runn

There is a much simpler solution, assuming you have access to a mail server
that supports IMAP (e.g., gmail)
1. Create a folder on your IMAP account.
2. In Outlook, move your email to this folder.
3. In Mail, access this folder. Leave the email on the server, or move it
to a local folder if you wish.
Job done.

第二， the converter is 10 years old, not availbe from the
original place.
第三，why converting OE (os 9) to Mail (os x) using a windows
machine? 不是说windows machine 不好，额外的折腾。 我非常怀疑
那个converter是给从windows switch到mac的人用的，而不是解决
我现在遇到的问题。

我非常相信他的solution. 我试过很多别的solution, 不work.
article的跟贴中的solution不work, (如IMAP)
他的solution是针对OE (mac os 9) to mail (OS X intel machine).
使用于我的情况，而且我的简单， (OS X PPC)
他是先找了一个OS X PPC才搞定， 正好solution可以为我所用。
我现在卡在step 2, 后面的步骤很简单，我完全相信
step 2: Run Outlook Express in Classic (found in /Applications (Mac OS 9) ->
Outlook Express 5.02 Folder -> Outlook Express) under this new user account
所以我现在就是需要在10.4 clasic 下 安装/run OE. 卡这儿了。
