1) firefox: all the pdfs in the download folder. so when I clean the temp
files and history, the pdfs are not cleaned, and still in the local machine,
right? what is the best way to handle it?
2) I think safari won't have such a privacy problem?

发帖数: 2001 | 5 除了你主动存盘的，浏览器一般遇到自己打不开的文件，会要你存在硬盘上
我用Firefox on PC or Safari on Mac都能够直接打开pdf，不会存到download里
况且，如果是已经存在download里的文件，
我不希望浏览器去自作主张给清了，
例如，你去下载了mp3，照片，和几个pdf在download里放着，
你希望浏览器去自动全部砍掉么？

发帖数: 521 | 10 安全考虑。有时要看一下信用卡，和工资等，上面有卡号，和ssn。clean cache不会删
除这些文件的。
我的firefox能打开pdf (pop up a small window asking for preview option), 但是
也存到download里，不是我主动要存的.

seems pdf reader, not firefox? also if by firefox, you shouldn't see file in
download folder
