Last semester my advisor brought different apples to class (only me and another
korean guy) to share with us. Once she brought in Macintosh. Not until then
did I realize the origin of Mac. hehe...suppose to be tasty and good...
my observation: apple changes the logo from rainbow( also symbol of gay community)
to silver (cool?). Hardware goes to silver and software goes to blue

很快Apple在1984年又推出了Lisa 2, 1985年Apple又把Lisa 2改名为Macintosh XL,
几个月后就被更新的机型取代而停产了.
Lisa 1采用5Mhz 68000CPU, 出厂配制1M内存, 相比当时仍旧在生产的Apple II
的64K RAM是个巨大的飞跃. 机身是一体化设计, 12存的单色显示器, 另配有两
个五英寸的软驱, 没有硬盘. 当时售价$9,995!
Lisa使用的操作系统是Lisa OS, 和当时DOS以及其他操作系统比较, Lisa OS
不仅采用图形界面, 使用鼠标做输入工具, 而且可以同时运行多个程序. Lisa
OS首创的许多概念到现在还很流行, 比方说Copy&Paste, Undo...
由于Lisa价格昂贵, Apple只卖出了大约8万台. 后来的Lisa 2把内存减到512KB,
只保留一个3"软驱, 但是增加了可选的硬盘, 售价在$3500到$5000之间. 而且
Lisa 2还可以运行System 6.0.3

发帖数: 6889 | 3 It's not a mistake. I heard an Apple founder/designer liked eating
"mcintosh" apples, hence the name.
I think they simply did not want to get into a dispute about the naming rights,
hence the variant of the name.
