supervisor (experienced senior assoc.). I've interviewed with a Big 4 firm.
They are offering the same money and to work on one of their largest
accounts. However, it's a long drive each day. Is it worth it to make the
change just to get into Big 4? Are the future benefits worth the longer
hours and pressure? I will reach manager level at about the same time (2
years) in either my current firm or the Big 4 firm. |

工资涨幅能有30％－40％；我认识的senior跳槽出去的，涨幅也有20％至少 |

But tier 2 is generally considered Grant Thornton, BDO Seidman, and
McGladrey.

发帖数: 29846 | 7 每天一小时,单程才30分钟而已. 这个不算什么吧.
我曾经最长单程都要1.5到2小时,开了一年左右.
后来换地方,单程要30-40分钟,已经觉得很开心了. 觉得时间长的话,拿个ipod听audio
book好了.

没必要换, 越小的公司往上越比较容易升职，薪水也不见得少。如果今后想跳到
industry发展，最后往controller或者finance director的career path走的话，big4
的experience还是蛮重要的，因为big4的经历会让你碰到一些2nd tier firm碰不到的
technical issue, 而且跳槽的时候industry（尤其是上市公司）还是更看重big4的经
验的。
50mile是远了点儿，要是租的房子还是搬家吧，如果已经买了房子没法儿搬家就坚持两
年吧。 |

都不用回家可以直接在办公室过夜了。
