发帖数: 50 | 1 小女子因为家庭原因，不久将搬去加拿大。在美国即将考完最后一门CPA。想请教一下
大家，如果通过了美国的CPA考试（但是还没有拿到license），并有大约一年的美国
CPA Firm工作经验，在加拿大如何找工作？目前想到的大致方向是投：
1． 美国在加拿大的分公司
2． Big 4在加拿大的分部 （但是看了一下，似乎都要求有加拿大的CA或者是CA的
Candidate，而没提到AICPA）
如果要找加拿大的会计工作，是否必须再考一个加拿大的Chartered Accountant啊？
还请有相关经验的朋友指点。 |

加拿大的 Certified General Accountant (CGA)接受通过AICPA考试的人为Candidate。
The Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation is a valued and respected
designation in Canada, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Hong Kong and China. The
CGA has four streams of career choices and provides additional courses for
those careers.
1. Corporate & Small-Medium Enterprise
2. Information Technology
3. Government and Not-for-Profit
4. Public Practice
Each career path has 2 additional 10 week courses, 18 in all, of
approximately 20 hours each week of study. A university degree is also
required. |

except if you want to do small business in those offices.

发帖数: 10 | 9 I have been living in Toronto, Canada for over 6 years before rellocating in
California. I would say CPA is not very helpful to find a job in Canada.
Big 4 usually requires Charted Accountant, but it's very difficult. I would
suggest you getting CGA since it's much easie for you and it's very helpful
for you to get a regular job.
I don't know a lot about the situation in Vancouver though. They don't have
much oppotunities as in Toronto for sure.

发帖数: 47 | 10 我在温哥华.BC省CGA和ON的不太一样。CGA是可以CA的工作.基本上来说，CPA只是锦上
添花。很多CGA都是拿到证书后去考的CPA.光是CPA找工作会比较难,特别是entry level
的.我建议楼主来这里的CGA office具体问一下.好象CPA只需要补几门课.3门吧。Tax2
，然后PA1,PA2.下面CGA办公室联系方式。
