也是通过老公的关系，（老公是一个business coalition 的fundraising manager，这
些人大多是他的business面面交)，之前跟HSBC的一个senior manager有聊过，觉得没
有什么靠谱的东西，大多都是political correct。
但是上个星期在一个lunch上跟这个UBS的人坐在了一块儿。聊了一阵，觉得这个人挺有
意思的。
他跟我说他给UBS工作，但是实际上又不属于UBS管，他和他的partner有自己的客户群
，有点像挂在UBS下面operate自己的business，他说他跟ubs是fee based。至于如何运
营，都是他自己管。名片上的title是 | t*****g

做税的需要很多法律的知识, 而你半路出家, 要一进来就做税,tax director可能觉得
不合适,所以听体来比较negative,反正在她眼里, 她的那个东西不合适你. | p**z

basically rich people's personal banker. where as the retail banks get
people to open checking/saving from the street, these guys get rich people
to open more complex financial products, hook them up with IPOs, private
funds stuffs.
they market under the UBS, but they are really like "sale" guys. if they get
client, they get $$.

发帖数: 231 | 4 CIMA is short for certified investment management advisor. I found that out
later...
Yeah, he mentioned his job was more like "asset management" "wealth advisor"
...
But it actually is not all for rich people. He told me that some of his
client are ordinary people. He just manages their IRAs, retirements, stocks.
