发帖数: 20 | 1 我有大概4年public firm的工作经验，但是都是小firm,作的是auditing。由于身体原
因在家休息了几个月，8月中开始重新找工作。接触了好多个猎头，到现在连个
interview都没给我找到。最后找到这个小公司的offer, 职位是senior accountant，
离家非常近，但是工资不算高。工资+bunos=60,000.
我也不知道是应该再找找还是鉴于离家近和现在的经济形势先take再说。现在位于新泽
西，如果像以前那样跑纽约路上来回要3小时，又觉得累。。。但是自己又很想去一个
大的好的公司。真是难两全阿。。。。想听听大家意见。。。。 |

don't have any urgent issue with your legal status or any other living
pressures, I suggest you pass this one and keep looking for a better
position.
In most cases, career change should always be an upgrade - from your title
to your compensations. The $60,000 job in a small corp is a downgrade for
you, and once you are downgraded to a lower level, it will take longer time
for you to jump back. |

发帖数: 20 | 6 谢谢你的建议.其实你说的我都明白,但是我现在在想真的有pay 的好的,又不累,又不用
travel,离家又近的工作吗?而且在这种经济下.我老公也说这个offer 有点鸡肋的意思,
但是如果是public firm or internal auditort, travel都是不可少的....实在不能忍
受每天几个小时在路上了.... |

career呢？如果就想轻松稳定，我觉得倒是可以考虑。如果想要以后有好多发展前途，
每跳一步最好都深思熟虑，你都上来问了，证明你也不是很满意。 |

not care much about your salary. Sometimes, ask yourself the following
question:
(1) Is there any chance to take managerial duty in the future?
(2) Are you in the right industry you like and at the right timing? Every
industry has its cycle.
(3) How is your coworkers/boss? Are they smart and you can learn from them?
Are they reasonable/considerate?
(4) Commute time is money, too. You can sleep longer, which is good for yo |
