现在有两个选择，优劣各陈述如下：
CPA Firm，小公司， 华人老板，同意办H1B，有办H1B经验，也有相关方面的灵活性。
如果去她那，我需要再去上些TAX方面的基础课，其业务主要在Income Tax 和
Bookkeeping方面。每年报税季度很忙。起薪四万多一点。
美国人开的LLC，Owner只有一个，非CPA，但是她本人做过非营利性机构的Controller
/CFO十余年，现在自己开公司（LLC）为非营利性组织提供审计准备方面的咨询，以及
会计系统评估和重建，也提供补洞救火方面的服务。已经在这家开始实习了一天，才收
到上面说的CPA FIRM确认信说打算录用我，问我什么时候可以开始去实习？（注：OPT
还没申请前两边都以实习的身份帮忙）如果选择这家，以后更大可能在NON-PROFIT这一
块发展。这个老板人不错，行事果断。现在有六个客户。她也有SPONSOR H1B经验。
我必须马上作决定。因为我的决定将会影响我明天是旁听税务方面的课（明天第一堂课

if you start in chinese firm, you stuck in it forever. and all you do is low
level tax/bookkeeping stuff. Plus most of them are not that ethical.
#2 shall prepare you very well for future position in NFO. Big NFO can pay
very well too. and since you are the only staff, the owner will teach you
all she know and have you help her to do at most work as possible. |

Reasons:
1). Non-profit won't be a promising career development in the future unless
you are in pursuit of a relaxed life. The accounting/taxation in non-profit
org.is quite different from the other industries; therefore, it will be
harder for you to leverage your experience and switch into other industries.
2). The Chinese CPA firm is definitely not an attractive one, but it will be
a good start in today's environment. First, you will get your |

CPA is not a must. The experience you have is more important than the piece
of paper.
I think if you begin in small CPA firm you stuck in it forever. maybe
someone can comment on this statement. but i felt like experience in a small
place is not going to help you in a bigger company. compare to your non-
profit experience, it can fit any non-profit. I remember reading article on

1) Income tax and bookkeeping require relatively little skills. If those
are the only skills you acquire at this job, there will be very little
upside potential on your salary and career. These small CPA firms,
especially run by Chinese, often do not have big corporate clients and what
you can learn there is very limited.
2) Non-profit is also not good. The pay is relatively low....but if you are
looking for a low stress job, it may not be a bad choice

除 了 工 资 涨 得 非 常 慢 , 非 营 利 性 机 构 是 否 会 因 为 安 逸 缺 少 竞
争 而 死 气 沉 沉 呢 ?
我 想 如 果 将 来 不 喜 欢 要 换 也 是 可 以 换 的 ,但 就 象 楼 上 几 位 朋
友 说 的 , 这 种 移 动 性 大 大 降 低 了 ,要 换 我 还 得 重 新 开 始 ?

worked 7 years in a big non-profit for greencard. As soon as I got my
greencard, I switched to corporate with no problem.
At least working for an American company, you can improve your English. No
matter where you are, communication skills is the key to success.
Yes, non-profit accounting is different, but you will pick up other
accounting very quickly. |

total hours and annual salary. You may know the truth. Life is not just work
