to be 2 years. Some states allow 1-year experience for candidates with
Master degree.
It's not absolutely uesless for non-public experience - you have to check
the requirements from your state board of accountancy. Each state has some
difference in specific requirements, and some states are not strict with "
public" experience, which means some kind of financial reporting experience
