有的生孩子想多休息产假以后也可以请假.
至于裁人,这个看你的GROUP,你的LOCATION,还有你的PERFORMANCE,
他们要裁也不会因为你请假裁,也不会因为不请假而不裁,身体最重要! |

As I know, most of CPA firms are down time now. Partners usually are happy
to see you using the PTO or even taking leave without pay during summer. H1B
will not be a issue.
Working in CPA, you have to have a healthy body to deal with overtime and
pressure during the tax season. If you are not the high energy level person,
you may start to look for opportunity in other industries after become a
senior.

won't be able to go back to work as you are no longer have a legal status
in the U.S. You need to take paid leaves, not no-pay leaves. |

As I know, my best friend (H1B) just took five weeks off and came back from
China. Three out of the five weeks are PTO and the rest of two are leave
without pay.
Myself (H1B too) took six weeks off back to china. I used my overtime not no
-pay leaves. I double how the immigation system knows that you take paid or
no-pay leave.
You may contact your company lawyer instead. |

There are many ways USCIS can find out. For one, companies are liable to
report this to USCIS. Of course some companies report it and some don't,
but I would recommend against taking any chances.
Go and read posts from JobHunting or Immigration boards. There are many
discussions about H-1B.

么活干,所以我一月份就申请了no pay leave在家复习考cpa,顺便找其他的工作。1
月15号刚拿到新公司的offer,还没来得及辞职。16号 就接到原来公司的电话,说我被
给layoff 了,而且没有package,说我是no pay leave. 我当时也是和hr 得manager说
好了,但还是被layoff 了。 |

is safe, whether one gets pay or not. Did some research, pls see:
