every year and leave their husbands/wives and kids behind in China. and they
stay in US illegally for a long period (usually around 10 years) to become
legal, then apply for their family to come here.
sometimes people don't have a choice and once they come here there is no
turning back. the only thing they can do is to stay here, make money and
send money back to China, hoping one day they will reunion with their

emotional impact.
What has his mother done? She was in her early 30's when she first came to

problems to deal with. Life is not always beautiful, but is damn sure
always tough.
Whatever the reason, whatever happened, the dead have found peace, the
living continue to go through battles of life. I try to forget about all
the wrong doings around us, don't want to be affected, because my journey
is just starting to get interesting, it ain't gonna be easy, but will be

皇后區奧松公園一對華裔父子因一氧化碳中毒身亡，警方表示很可能是有故障的便攜
式取暖器導致了這一事故的發生。而事發屋內雖然裝有一氧化碳探測器，但因為電池失
效，未能適時警告，挽救回兩人的生命。
房東表示，陳家是台灣移民，父親在律師樓工作，兒子從事IT行業，在他的房子裡已經
住了四年。而屋子裡的警報器是因為父子倆嫌經常響起太吵，早已取下。
死者33歲的女兒陳瑪安(Marian Chen，姓名皆音譯)15日在親友陪同下到事發地點處理
後事，難過得不說一句話。
不幸去世的66歲的陳國功(Kuo-Kung Chen)和29歲的兒子陳亞倫(Aaron Chen)住在位於
101大道和90街交口附近一幢兩層連棟屋內。當地為南亞裔聚集區。
