T*********e 发帖数: 39815 | 2 buy whichever fits you best
if all fit you, go for Z65
I really doubt you need a Z65, I am using Z55, it is big enough for
backpacking |

Y****6 发帖数: 1235 | 4 hand, I will pick Z65 too. but even Z55 is still too big for me, that's why
I pick up the Osprey Talon 44. |

我会选gregory z65 (if you can find a z55, go for it) |

kind of on sale
REI got 20% off coupon now |

k**e 发帖数: 2728 | 8 Golite quest still my favorite, really miss the deal that i wasn't able to

Golite quest only weighs 2b 12oz, 62L |

uncomfortable. |

n*****a 发帖数: 1327 | 12 Just for your reference, for a 62L pack, if well packed, it can easily go 45
-50lbs. At this weight, I won't mind have 1 or 2 lbs extra for the pack if
it really much more comfortable. |

k**e 发帖数: 2728 | 13 it says unisex though
anyway, all the posts have pretty good valid points in terms of supporting
system.
i'll think twice or more :D
thank you. |

k**e 发帖数: 2728 | 14 my current pack is a mountain smith scarlet, i think it weighs 4 1bs 7oz,
with 50L volume. :D perhaps this is a right pack for me for a while. |

T*********e 发帖数: 39815 | 15 If your current pack works for you well, I don't see the point to get a new
one. |
|
k**e 发帖数: 2728 | 16 i was just thinking it's kind of heavy (4 1bs something), and small (only
50L).
but before i can use a pack with 65L of volume, i think i have a long way to
go with other lighter backpacking gears, otherwise it will well beyond my
carrying capacity, if it is packed full.
people like my build, should go for the idea of "ultra-light backpacking",
however, for now, i guess i should work on other aspect first, before
thinking about getting a bigger and lighter pack. other replies have a very
valid p |

T*********e 发帖数: 39815 | 17 gear selection is a big thing
first of all, you really need to know better what you are doing to select
the right and necessary gears, and leave unnecessary gears at home.Just go
for more trips with different ppl, you'll find different opinions and have
chance to see all kinds of gears. Try them in real trips.
then from this point, you replace your bulky gears with lighter ones. if you
have money, buy whatever you want, weight metters. but in real life, most
people only have limited resource(mone |

k**e 发帖数: 2728 | 19 yeah, a serious research topic, too. but it has so much more fun.haha

T*********e 发帖数: 39815 | 20 sure it is fun. it is a part of outdoors, isn't it? |

i am sure i can learn to pack for 3 nights backpacking with this 50L pack
soon, in fact i have one trip coming up the end of this month, so gotta get
ready for that. |

REI Flash 65
