就在上周四，美国高中生Brittany Stinson凭借一纸神文书，被五所藤校（耶鲁，哥大
，宾大，达特茅斯，康奈尔）以及斯坦福同时录取。要知道今年斯坦福的录取率仅有4.
69%，比其他任何藤校录取率都低，可想而知小姑娘是如何凭借实力成为黑马的。
“ 其实我到现在都还不敢相信申请结果这么出彩。” Brittany 告诉记者。
众所周知，美国八大藤校对学生的素质要求向来严苛，虽然申请者们早就做好了心里准
备，但竞争仍一年比一年激烈，门槛不断抬高。

Earthworks Nursery is my favorite so far. They have a large collection of
shrubs and plants, including some uncommon Chinese plants. I bought Yuletide
Camellia, Gulf stream nandina, Holly last December, they all survived this
extremely cold winter, look healthy and strong.
Price wise, their price is similar as Lows and HD, but often you get bigger

in DC. the two workshop topics by max are "hip rotation in chacha" and "Jive
flicks and kicks", the two by Yulia are "Latin from the Waist Down – Legs,
Feet, Hips" and "Latin from the Waist Up – Arms, Hands, Back, Head"
as I see the last one certainly is the best, but it's just impossible to
describe yulia's upper body movements in words, just a quote from yulia "

最后一个，纪念一下Camellia Yuletide。她没能扛过第一个冬天。这个很受美国人欢
迎，主要原因是她一般在圣诞节附近开放，还是美丽的红色黄色的芯蕊。
发文好辛苦，主要是想和对茶花玫瑰和花坛设计感兴趣的朋友多多交流，共同进步。:)
补充一下，我在Northern Virginia, Zone 7a. 基本上是茶花生存的边缘地带，所以都
只能选耐寒品种。又因为雨水不算少，玫瑰呢要选desease resistant的品种。等夏天
再来更新玫瑰:) |

博引诙谐讽喻，但以我得心应手的伪小资啰嗦自恋后意识流风格，应该还能对付，何况
好歹google 101也算是毕业了。这就是这样一篇毫无思想的民间百科文章的由来，“是
为序”。
圣诞电影，第一个想到的竟然是grinch。不过看起来这一篇字数应该够了，可以拿到下
一篇再说。是为再序。
圣诞音乐，christmas carole，耳边首先响起的是fa la la la la la la la la。听这
首歌的时候多数是在mall里的playground。孩子看玩具，美女看孩子，我看孩子和美女
，一边摇头摆尾fa la la la la la la la la。其它歌词自然只能记住第一句Deck the
halls，至于什么yule tide carole，对我就难度太高了，只能舌头一滚咕噜过去，完
全落不到点上。

记的查过这个yuletide很多遍，每次都要重新查。这次又看wiki，看到Welsh版本的歌
