personal train has crossed the border into China, indicating that Kim may
have begun a much-speculated trip there.

television has announced.
Mr Kim, who has led the communist nation since the death of his father in
1994, died on a train while visiting an area outside the capital, the

南韓產業通商資源部通商交涉本部長金鉉宗今天表示，南韓與美國已就修訂兩國間的自
由貿易協定以及鋼鐵關稅議題達成共識。
南韓聯合新聞通訊社（Yonhap）報導，金鉉宗赴華盛頓舉行會談後，在返回仁川國際機
場（IncheonInternational Airport）時告訴記者：「兩國已就雙邊自由貿易協定和鋼
鐵議題達成原則性協議。」
他又說，仍有些技術性問題必須在工作層級會議解決，但可能在短期內就完成。
法新社報導，金鉉宗表示，南韓成功捍衛有關農產品問題的「紅線」，並未在關稅上作
更多讓步。
他說，這項協議去除了有關鋼鐵輸美的不確定性，應可讓南韓製品順利銷美，他明天在
內閣會議提出報告後將會公布更多詳情。
美國總統川普的政府去年7月要求召開雙邊會議，重新談判美韓自由貿易協定，宣稱
2012年達成的這項協定內容一面倒，導致美國貿易逆差一路增加。
