Yestel is terrible.
Don't worry. What you can do here is
1. Dispute throught FTC, FCC, BBB, or state attorney general
2. Add some statement at your credit bureau's report which
will be seen by all the people checking your credit history,
say, you were billed incorrectly. That's very common dispute
with long-distance carriers.
3. Hire an attorney.
Actually I also need to settle down my case with Yestel when
I have time. If I could not get through with the first two
ways, I'd like to turn to some

you can dispute with the credit bureaus that the
company charged you multiple times.
also you should dispute with the company. if they
don't remove the charge, report to BBB, state
attorney general's office, FCC, FTC, etc.

这种事真是气得说不出话来.依我看, 息事宁人, 10几块钱的事, 交
了它算了, 为这10几块钱跟那班崽子去争不值得.除非你有足够的精
力. 想想胯下之辱, 这就算不了什么.
我自己也有这样的经历, 不过不是电话公司, 是医院. 我去年三月看
病花了1100多美元, 后来我转了校, 搬了地方, 不想前不久收到催帐
公司的信,莫明其妙地说这笔还没有交.
我当时是有有效医疗保险的,而且是100%COVER,在看病时我提交了一
切必需文件. 我给催款公司打电话, 哪里是跟人说话, 简直就是跟畜
生在说话. 我一点也不客气,告诉它走着瞧. 后来我跟医院取得了联
系,医院经过调查, 说完全是他们的失误造成的,他们没有及时向保险
公司申报,超过时间保险公司拒付. 医院给我道歉,给我写了信(不过
现在我还没有收这封信),催款公司的恶劣态度,等我收到医院的信之
后我一定会要一个说法.
我们经常在这个版上看到被长途电话公司痛宰的消息.我劝大家一定
要看准才作决定, 不要被一些听得到摸不着的DEAL所引诱. 现在许多
电话卡质量信誉都不错,价格便宜,使用也方便,使用电话卡是个不错
的选择.

别. 息事宁人的应该是他们.
其实不要把这当成一件麻烦事, 来美国一趟, 什么都经历经历,有好处,
长经验值, 哪怕找律师,上法庭. 我的观点是,小事不怕烦,乘机学些东西,
才能避免出大事,或出了事也能冷静对待,知道如何应付.

Money is not the main issue -- after all, it's only
about $10. But if was me, I will never pay it unless
I know it's reasonable. Last time I got a similar
letter that asked me to pay for a magazine that suppose
to be free, I called the customer service and argue
with them several times -- if their attitude is not
good, you can even ask for the gov's help. Anyway, at
last they apologized and never charged me again. But it
was when I was a student and had a lot of time -- it's
really time consumin
