patient with breast cancer, who had, throughout adolescence,

文也转过来，感觉杨宪益是直译，hawkes有点paraphrase的意思，英语更地道更
flowery，但诗的节奏韵味好像不足？老外会喜欢看hawkes版，杨宪益的比较plain，少
一点文质辞采。李欧梵看来更喜欢hawkes的译本，不过他没读过杨宪益的，只是对他的
翻译风格有不同意见，觉得他翻的鲁迅不够味，英国味道浓。我读杨宪益翻译的鲁迅，
也觉得和这些诗一样，缺一点感情。不过李欧梵对他俩的

一听谷子心一凉，惭愧五谷不分。一会儿翻成rice，一会儿翻成wheat……回来查字典
，一说millet（查中文是小米、黍，又去查黍……），一说unhusked/unhulled rice（
未脱壳的稻谷）。发言人说的是湖南江永的瑶族女人以前社会地位较高，有支配家产的
权力。有的结拜姐妹捐出十几担谷子，作为共同的基金用于投资。猜想是稻谷吧？“担
”我也没翻出来，回来查是picul，一担50公斤。我该上山下乡一趟……
2. 甲骨文
我翻成writings on the tortoise's shells，心里知道还有写在牛骨和其他骨头上的
，对不起殷墟了……回来查到甲骨的正式翻译是oracle bone，甲骨文可翻成
inscriptions on oracle bones。Oracle是西方的神谕，这不是一下子把考古学纳入神

christians, they yearn for a heaven that is not specified, why dont we wanna
be reborn in the pureland, given so many scripts and commentaries on its
theory and practice and given that so many people have been reborn!
