加州会对SCA 5 投票，如果SCA 5 被APPROVE，加州大学可以名正言顺的用RACE的
FACTOR 来录取。 在这种情况下，中国学生进入加大的名额会大幅度减少。数据表明，
取消AA，亚裔入学人数大幅增加，白人只是有小幅增加。 希望加州能投票的中国人都
去反对这个SCA 5， 这关系到中国孩子能上啥样的大学。
德州白人告德州大学的CASE 也要重审了，这个结果也关系到德州学校的录取政策。
其他州的，如果加州和德州能名正言顺的用RACE，跟进的也会不少。现在的事实就是西
裔人口的比例越来越大。将来会有更多的西裔政客为了自己的选票来要求大学录取考虑

倔强。
周勤画，女，2009年毕业于复旦大学，现为耶鲁的某理工科在读博士生。据她
自己说，从小各种竞赛得奖，在复旦是全A生。但是去google一下发现，完全没有搜到
任何周勤画竞赛得奖的信息，只有当年她被耶鲁录取后忙于去各大留学机构介绍“经验
”的信息。现在耶鲁人称“一姐”，提及她的大名，学弟学妹们直呼“吃不消”，觉得

I had an accident when I did experiemnts years ago. we were boiling water in
a tube, it leaked and steam went out, big noise like explosion, the only
thing I could think of was running away, and that's actually what I did. My
advisor was calm, 'show on YaLi' at all, and he turned off the power and
things went ok. |

In the beginning, things were not that sever. Earth quake hit the power
plant, all units were successfully shutdown, diesel generators worked till
tsunami wiped them away, then backup battery did their work to cool the
reactor cores. Those backup systems had done the best to fulfill their
responsibilities and won invaluable time for the TEPCO and the government to
mitigate the risk and minimize the damage. If things were handled properly,

我经常晚上两三点钟从HHH公寓走到Yale Bookstore那里去买烟，
比 yale art studio还要远一点吧。路上几乎没有什么人，坏人估计
也睡觉了。不过一个女孩子的话还是建议坐校车吧，minibus是免费的
六点以后可以随时叫，大概要等5，6分钟吧。
中国人吃饭的地方比较好的呢有这么几家，Asianhouse，川菜做的不
坏，不过菜样比较少，京园广东菜，饭店环境不错，老板人也比较爽
利。川园是不是在colinton啊，没去过，太远，据说川菜一流。现在
新开的一家Eastern buffe，还不错，北京烤鸭做的有点意思。要说
bar么，Yale Bookstore那里有一家叫Xander的，Yale的学生hangout
的不少，Toads是official的Yalie的bar吧，太吵，主要是蹦的，还有
一家叫Anchor's bar的，据说是Judy Foster的favorite。在哪儿现在
说不清除，去过几次。大致就是这样吧。
