for home defense, the Hornady XTP JHP is a much better choice. For $0.64
per round with free shipping that is not a bad price. the old design jhp is
cheaper but it doesn't expand reliably as defense round. for a few dollars
more, get something better to save you and your family's life.

okay i found a much easier way to fix this
hope this will helpe u guys
1 start task manager, find the xxx.exe (can be nlk , xtp or whatever)that has around 11000k under memory
2 end task
3 go to the search bar and type system restore
4 right click it and select run as administrator
(must do this or the XXX.exe will run again)
5 pick a time that your pc was not infected
6 wait for system restore and you pc should be good again

我打过，用Hornady 9mm 124gr HP/XTP空尖弹在180磅的野猪身上试验过，一点没有觉
得跟通常训练用的FMJ有什么区别。
弹头轻易就从野猪身上穿过去了，打进土里，没有找回来。入口是一个小孔，出口也不
过一个两三厘米直径的大孔。 |

penetration和expansion恰恰是相互矛盾的两个方面，就看你弹头的设计是偏向哪边了
。我见过以前有人贴过的测试，明显点45ACP和40SW都比9毫米的wound channel大。
枪口动能是硬指标，枪口动能够大，才能在弹头上下功夫，你想增加穿透力就可以增加
穿透力，你想增加翻滚就可以增加翻滚。9毫米和40SW的弹头没有本质差别，杀伤机理
相同，拼动能、拼口径是重要指标。像5.7x28之类的是另一回事，杀伤机理有些不同。
要论枪口动能，你不能拿9mm+P的动能大的例子跟40SW动能较小的例子相比。180格令的
40SW弹的枪口动能一般都偏小。而且不能只看某一个牌子。Gold Dot的124格令9毫米+P
的枪口动能是410fpe，180格令的40SW也不过420fpe，确实是差不多，可是155格令的
40SW的枪口动能高达496fpe，165格令的484fpe，都比9mm+P的大得多。
Hornady的40SW，165格令的506fpe，更高。
