四名嫌犯涉嫌在环球天下科技公司(Global Education & Technology Group)11月被英
国伦敦的培生教育公司(Pearson)购併桉中，事先获得内情，进行内线交易。
这项指控是SEC取缔中国在美上市公司违法行为的最新一件，这些违法行为多半是会计
做假。环球天下科技公司在中国提供英语和其他测验的补习服务。
SEC文件指出，在环球天下被培生溢价收购的消息公布的前几周，四名涉桉人先后共动
用230万美元购入环球天下股票。涉桉人在此交易中总共获利超过270万美元不法利得。
SEC举例说明，在2011年11月18日，环球天下被培生收购的消息公布的前一个交易日，
被告购买环球天下的股票总量合计占该股票成交量35%；此外，若干被告的股票帐户在

2005年初的时候，海外一位前辈高人在新语丝上发文“中国留美女教授们”，集中点评
了十八位在美国各大学任教的华人留美女教授，如今八年过去了，当初2005版留美女教
授中的绝大多数助理教授已经拿到tenure或是提升为正教授了，而2005版中的副教授、
正教授由于学术上的成就很多都已经被选为美国科学院院士，HHMI, IEEE Fellow, 系
主任，有名号的冠名讲席教授等等。同时在这8年中，随着中国出国学生不断增多，华
人在美国学术界的影响力持续提升，更多的留美女教授涌现出来了。
以下是楼主在申请出国开始初步选校过程中整理出来的2013版中国留美女教授榜，共计
119人，希望对清华出国的xdjm们在选校、陶瓷上多少有点帮助。这个名单虽然比较全

光从理科上来说, 北大科大差不多, 北大的星星还更多一些, 尤其现在NIH火热, 去看
看10大 or 20大NIH华人明星里北大多还是科大多.
算上物理的话, 复旦也很牛比, 差不多三足鼎立, 磕打可能还是最弱的.
磕打主要就是几个热门方向, 纳米, biophysics上跳wagon的比较多, 而且女牛人多,
暴光率高.

各种方法盗取美国的技术情报。近两年，FBI逮捕了近30名中国国籍及华裔美国人，均

如：加州圣荷西的“Data Physics”公司生产和销售信号分析仪器，原本是美国空军的
政府承包商，因为向中共军方出口军民两用的振动器被空军取消了合同。美国政府不但
对Data Physics罚以重金，还取消了它的出口权。这家公司的中国籍销售经理陈越强受

生化联合培养）学生之一。斯坦福博士毕业， 有cell。他可能没有同是CUSBEA的
xiaodong wang, xinyuan Fu ( 现head of department of biochemistry, NUS) 有名
。但是在， singapore， Cai minjie 是IMCB元老之一， 当年IMCB PhD admission
commmittee 的chair。一般来说， 能到IMCB的中国学生，多数是中科院，或是综合性
大学毕业的， 基础都不错。 IMCB这个所在九十年代末到2005大约十年间， 可谓是亚
洲细胞生物研究的一颗明星（平均每年2－3偏 CNS， high impact paper 许多)。 |

but i am impressed that some good senior scientist did go back for this plan
.
wang xiaodong is one of them. others like michael zhang,
and i have to say, that for now, they come back mostly for non-science
reasons, such
as being the chairman of department something. but i believe that this
situation will
change in 5 years or so, if funding system in US still cannot recover and
chinese
economy is catching up. |

如果知道邵刚回nibs时，仗着xiaodong的宠爱，偷取同事的idea并抢发成功，最后导致
该同事跳槽去中科院，还会不会觉得他有资格说这种“得了便宜就卖乖”的话？

其实好些都是老生常谈了。不过这次我们面试了好几个人，五花八门的答案总结一下挺
有意思。
我们问的问题都是很benign的，很多都是面试这类工作想得到的问题。一开始大家各自
贡献问题的时候，我列了那个weakness的问题，还很不放心地问大家这个问题是不是太
陷阱了，结果大家都很喜欢weakness的问题。我估计象我们这种很nice的单位以前是不
好意思问人这么tricky的问题的，但是自从这个问题变popular以后，大家都觉得不用
太可惜了:-p 我们问的是，你的两个主要弱点是什么？关于这个问题的讨论已经很多了
，其实看面试的人对这问题的反应，是挺有意思的。以前看关于这个问题的各种讨论和
书上教的技巧，大概有这么几种回答方式：
a. 耍滑头式的。我一同事说，她看的一本书上教的回答方法，就是把一个自己的优
