硬件：HP MicroServer N36L + 2*4GB ECC / 购买时间，半年前
和N40L最主要的区别是PSU和处理器
存储：30GB Vertex SSD 做系统盘
2TB*4 做存储阵列 （两块希捷，两块日立，都是5900rpm）
操作系统： Solaris Express 11
文件系统： ZFS/RAID-Z
服务: AFP, FTP, Apache, MySQL, SMB, Mldonkey。
没做DLNA, 那个太垃圾了，我宁愿AFP访问，网络播放。家里的电视只用来看电视，高清都是projector。
界面： NMediaPC Pro-LCD, LCDproc驱动, 显示 CPU占用, 网络占用，Uptime，等等；
如果你选择了Linux，LCD Display的选择会更多些。我就奔着最便宜的有Solaris writeup的去了。

一些，还是觉得这个人过于Intense？
今天Attending花了一个小时点评（当然多数是批评）我的第一个H&P （这个医院的系
统跟我上个Rotation完全不同），刚好第一天就Oncall, 没有人教我们怎么用这个软件
，所以有些字句还没仔细斟酌就稀里糊涂的贴上去了，有的地方格式也变了，当时不知
道怎么改，后来就忘了这吗事，主要是我上个Rotation的Attending从来不看我的Notes
, 只看formal writeups, 所以也没太当回事，没想到这么快就back fire了。这个
Attending的标准真是高啊，我觉得至今还没有看到过合乎他要求的H&P呢，他对于普通
admission 的H&P要求绝对高于我原来Attending对于Formal Writeup的要求 （除了
Discussion部分），按说我原先那个Attending还是大牛呢。 接下来的几个Oncall肯定
一点都睡不成了，都得花时间考究H&P了。呜呜。。。，不知道该抱怨还 |

发帖数: 70028 | 6 有网友在上海地铁事故后声称纽约地铁50年没有撞车事故。这其实是没有做调查就得出的、想当然的错误结论。事实上纽约地铁在事故方面是臭名昭著的。不仅有碰撞事故，还经常有出轨事故。这不是为上海地铁事故辩解，但是，中国人应该放弃自虐心态，事实上美国的月亮并不比中国的圆。从安全性来说，中国任何一个城市的地铁都比纽约强很多。

CNA送病人出院，把轮椅推到大厅门口，病人要求推到车边，她说太冷了，她没穿COAT
。就回去了。是SECURITY把病人推到门口。
结果过一会她穿着COAT下来抽烟了，被同一个SECURITY看见，就WRITEUP，她就被FIRE
了。
现在连警告什么的都不给了。
俺最近也得小心了。收到领导的群发EMAIL，说有些同志上班时上不该去的网，说医院
在监视着。这估计就是说我了。因为大家都上网，但是只有我是上中文网。网管肯定注
意到。
我要戒中文了。还是看看书吧。好久都没学习了。
。。。
看护士工作这么被欺负，thr丢工作也可能。
美国他妈的太黑了。fire是不是很多福利都没有了。。。。

有投proposal的名额限制。 系里的一些senior的faculty决定采用我的方案，可是
有些人写的writeup质量太差，根本没法用。不论贡献大小，fund还要均分！
我如果因此拒绝采用他们的inputs，又担心会有人事上的麻烦 －－
谁我也得罪不起啊！

那个breakthrough tech我自己很得意，我老板不impressed，哈哈，我虽然觉得是他没
眼光，不是我的活不好。。。但是老板么，还是会受伊影响。。。比较depressed。
这次commiitee一致很感兴趣，算是帮我说复老板要努力关注和sell这个work，这算很
实际的收获，哈哈。
我的proposal write-up很长很长，我本身writing又比较挫，无数typo，老板昨天还专
门发了若干email警告我typo那么多，当心像oral test一样被conditional pass with
revised writeup，搞得我晚上没怎么睡着 - -b |

In the US and EU, publishing good pieces of work with full copyright
protection is much easier and much more profitable than in China. And I
guess that's why only truly amature writers or kids would use these websites
. Many writeups there are really crappy. |

总的来讲$180的N40L让自己搭NAS变得没啥必要了。
整体做工不错。机箱设计一点空间没浪费。风扇很安静。通风设计也很合理。并且继承
了Compact的优点。硬盘和光驱的备用螺丝全在前面板上。不足之处三点。一个是电容
不全是固态电容。二是硬盘架子是塑料的，显得不太结实。三是MiniSAS connector确
实象网上review中所说，很难拔。
我用的是2x4GB non-ECC普通内存。系统上的是debian。看720pHD 没问题。板子有PCI-
E x16的插槽。装个fanless显卡硬解当HTPC肯定没问题。 Debian里的NIC driver开不
了Jumbo Frame。SAMBA传输率大概40~50MB/s。 |
