1912年，前总统西奥多·罗斯福（Theodore Roosevelt）重新参加总统选举，代表进步
党（Progressive Party），提出全民医疗保险、妇女选举权、产业工人安全工作条件
等社会主张。结果老罗斯福被伍德罗·威尔逊（Woodrow Wilson）击败，美国第一次全

重大区别的背景原因，同时也比较两党主政时期的实绩，以事实和数据来比较哪一个政
党的理念和政策更加有效。
1993 - 2016 两党相持不下的僵局
最近的24年，表面上是民主党（克林顿和奥巴马）占据优势，入主白宫16年，共和党只
有小布什的八年。但是在国会，同时掌控参众两院，共和党占了14年，民主党只有6年
，另外4年是民主党控制参议院，共和党控制众议院。
再具体分析，克林顿和奥巴马都是只有在他们八年中的前两年是获得由民主党同时控制
国会两院的支持，而小布什的前六年都是由共和党控制国会两院。这就是说，克林顿和
奥巴马其实是只有两年的时间来推行实践他们的治国理念和竞选诺言，而小布什则有足
足六年的时间。
历史偶然吗？
那么在2001-2007年，共和党保守主义在美国完全一党独大（美国最高法院则至少从
1991年开始直到今年二月极端保守派的Scalia去世，保守派已经控制了25年了）的结果
是什么？是2007-2008的全球金融崩溃，和由此引发的二次大战结束以来最严重的经济
大萧条。

的不要（淘汰掉近100位），和平奖不要，得诺奖时已经叛变了米国的不要。剩下全是

新加坡中学那么好，什么英美结合，什么普林斯顿第一，照理说也该弄点推动人类文明

如果要用新加坡人口反驳，那么按照美国人口是新加坡60倍计算，新加坡中学也至少

星加坡就是个培养二流人才的地方，还有啥好说的。

的不要（淘汰掉近100位），和平奖不要，得诺奖时已经叛变了米国的不要。剩下全是
美国土生土长，接受美国中学教育的，一共有200多位。
新加坡中学那么好，什么英美结合，什么普林斯顿第一，照理说也该弄点推动人类文明
进步的人才了吧，不管文学也好，理工也罢。如此精英的新加坡中学培养出来拿诺奖的
人数是多少呢？
鸭蛋！！！
如果要用新加坡人口反驳，那么按照美国人口是新加坡60倍计算，新加坡中学也至少
该有3、4位诺奖得主了吧？ 其实如果一个国家教育体制好的话，人口根本不是问题，
新加坡人口5.3m，瑞典9.5m，瑞典培养出多少诺奖得主呢？30位！奥地利、瑞士这些多

只有2分，叫Woodrow Wilson Elementary，好像在隔壁framingham辖区里面。
为什么住在Natick，指定的小学却在framingham？可以不去那个学校，而读NATICK自己
辖区里的公立小学吗？
