利于找工作的课程。具体情况如下：
系里要求这2周选课，必须要选一门core course，一个是fundamentals of wireless
communication,一个是physics of semiconductor devices.
我以前有semiconductor的背景，所以类似的课程都修过，再修一次有点浪费，而且再
考虑到半导体这块工作现在也不好找，打算选wireless communication,比较偏软一点
，但是貌似大家都说通信这块也死了。
挺发愁的，因为有可能下学期要自己掏学费，所以想尽可能的选择对找工作有帮助的。
我在现在的学校搞的学的都有点偏软，但是还是和wireless communication一点不沾，
可能就matlab code/C++能用到一点。

research，主要是phy，network的也有一点。去年开始做algorithm， 包括设计和
implementation，但比起来以前research的东西简单很多，没什么挑战性，加上
implementation懂得不是很多，对目前工作不是很喜欢，想跳槽，目前小engineer一名
，看到比较match的工作的都是跟现在做的差不多的，不太感兴趣。进而觉得职业前景
黯淡。
个人感觉自己wireless phy和algorithm， 以及数学的background还可以。machine
learning什么的也弄懂个皮毛，写程序matlab还不错，c一般般，最近一年也写了一些
就是了。 自学及适应能力还行，只是年纪也大了，不如当初刚毕业的时候脑子灵活又
有干劲。
工作目前比较清闲，想自学，想问问各位前辈，这种情况，可以往哪个方向努力更有职

机，在外的另一个可以打座机联系。而且nationwide打电话 free and unlimited.
wireless:landline没有wireless可靠，wireless只需买个设备和$9/month service
fee。但只能用于security system,没有座机的功能。
大家是选择哪种？
另外买两层的single house，landline是不是必须的? 还是cellphone就可以应付了。

最近开始远程在家工作，家里的Internet数据流量大了很多，wireless网速很慢。问过
Comcast,如果想用Wired connection，一个选择是用现在的modem + router + cable,
但我家modem在楼下，我工作间在楼上，太麻烦。另个选择是加新modem（楼上有个
cable出口），但这样相当于要加一个新的Internet service，得再交一份钱。
我自己想能不能买一个新的，流量大的wireless router替掉现在的。现在用的是多年
前买的Netgear。
