袋的妈妈来说说吧。
我刚进了三个baby in a bag的睡袋，1个minky的，2个winter的。
本来考古说是minky的没有winter的厚，我想买两个厚的一个稍薄的，我找到的帖子最
近的也是2012年的了，不知近几年
商家对这两款的厚度是不是做了调整？
拿到手后我发现睡袋没洗的情况下，minky比winter要厚，也更暖和，但不知道洗了
以后会不会是winter更厚更暖？我拿到的winter版不同款式的睡袋厚度都还有区别。
我希望睡袋暖一些，如果winter洗过还比minky薄，我就打算和厂家联系都换成minky的
算了。

我们是纽约附近地区，冬天下雪的，不过大人小孩schedule也算flexible，不是到那种
刮风下雪都需要出门上班，风雨无阻的情况， 住的地方有些小local，的确是有上下坡
的道路，这个还真的是我们的concern。 另外家里另外一辆是outback，so far很足够
用了,大下雪天，我commute上班，就开outback，一般的日子，就是现在的nissan小车
。
我知道很多人都说awd是一个很crappy的feature在minivan上，很多大牛们都提到
winter tire，有几个小问题
1.其实我们很多同事都认为，就基本用途而言，不需要四驱。很多家庭的配置，都是一
辆suv，一辆比较省油的小车做commute用。SUV上四驱，但是天天跑着上下班的，还是
省油为主的小车。即使是大雪过后，路也是很快就铲过了。 大风大雨下雪天，大不了
不出门。 （而且实际情况也是如此，谁下着大雪在外面跑啊。。。。）

发生。我想通常意义的winterization是酱紫的，在bank owned的房子中间很普遍。
Winterized property往往是inspection的一个障碍。。
winterization和这个房子拿到offer可能刚好差不多同时发生，但是两者没有必要联系
。另外，拿到offer，seller没有批的房子，也有很多是还处于active状态的。

里墙上的水龙头也要做winterize. 不知道怎么做，因为不懂那个管院子里outside
faucet的shut off valve在哪里。我们只知道家里的总水闸在哪。
现在的问题是，找人做过sprinkler system的winterize,还得自己作外面水龙头的
winterize吗。我看那个人关掉了地下室一个什么闸，是不是就是管院子里faucet的水
闸？如果是的话，那我们就不需要再作什么了吧。 |

比哪种更暖一些?

2）圣诞将有从NJ，NY，CT户外大侠参加的白山英雄会
3）在全东部TOP5的越野滑雪场JACKSON， WATERVILLE V. 还有BEAR NOTCH组织6次活动
4）在MA，CT 和NH 组织5-6次 中低等难度野雪活动（Backcountry XC)
5）在NH的ZEALAND FALLS AMC HUT， 组织中等难度的WINTER WILDERNESS 滑雪活动
6）一次加拿大 魁北克省立公园的hut-hut野雪活动

and Salt Lake City? I am thinking a ski trip to Lake Tahoe and Salt Lake
City during Christmas/NewYear holidays. I will drive from SF bay area to
Tahoe and ski there for few days and then move to SLC. I know the winter
condition on I-80 west of Reno but I never drive between Reno and SLC in
winter. Do I expect the same winter condition as I-80 Sierra part? Or is it
better? |

City during Christmas/NewYear holidays. I will drive from SF bay area to
Tahoe and ski there for few days and then move to SLC. I know the winter
condition on I-80 west of Reno but I never drive between Reno and SLC in
winter. Is it common to close the road after winter storm? |

is typical warm, and from north in the winter season (Nov - March), which
is typical cold, after my 1-year experience in Texas.
The wind strength in Texas State ranks no.2 in the United States.
My personal feel is the winter wind is stronger than the summer wind. it's
harder to break through in the winter. Also it's more difficult to keep ball
straight.

其他人有帮助。另外顺便讨论一下winter surviving gear这个问题。
先简单介绍一下今天发生的事情：
在过去的7天里，根据天气预报的变化，加上过去的经验，判断这个周末（周六和周日
）是登山的好天气，NOAA给出的天气是周六白天20%的降雪概率， 7千尺左右的风速是
22mph gust to 28mph, 夜间是晴天（图1）。Mountain forecast给出的天气是周六白
天 some cloud, 夜间晴天，1万1千尺左右的风速是10-15mph, summit上温度是single
digit, wind chill 低于-10F （图2）。 NWAC给出的雪崩风险是 moderate-
considerable. 这样的天气在pacific northwest的冬季，算是一个很不错的天气窗。
在准备gear的时候，针对低温，基本上是把手里能对付最低气温的衣服都带上了。从天

对于Minivan这种家庭用车来讲，东北下雪的地方，低速的情况下，比如爬坡，积雪的
路面
AWD + winter tire 〉〉 AWD 〉〉 FWD + winter tire， winter tire主要能帮助侧
滑 跟刹车距离
至于高速上面，我个人觉得除了大家提的手自一体这项以外，AWD 不仅在冬天，其他时
间，应该还是用得到的。 |

2. 我找了一下，发现好多公司貌似没有winter intern的职位，到目前为止，我只发现
G一家，如果大家还知道其他有winter intern职位的公司，麻烦告诉我一下。

系统需要专人winterize，如果自己买个工具吸水怕弄得不好，把系统弄坏了，反而得

2）圣诞将有从NJ，NY，CT户外大侠参加的白山英雄会
3）在全东部TOP5的越野滑雪场JACKSON， WATERVILLE V. 还有BEAR NOTCH组织6次活动
4）在MA，CT 和NH 组织5-6次 中低等难度野雪活动（Backcountry XC)
5）在NH的ZEALAND FALLS AMC HUT， 组织中等难度的WINTER WILDERNESS 滑雪活动
6）一次加拿大 魁北克省立公园的hut-hut野雪活动
7）BANFF和JASPER， 一周的野雪和winter Hiking活动。
这份计划的内容大概很难从任何地域华人户外小组找到类似东西，全球只有温哥华的华人组织如此WINTER WILDERNESS活动
报名参加活动的条件：
必须满足ABC 其中一个（只要一个）：
A）有一定的爬山背景或 B）有一定的滑雪背景 或C）有其它户外运动或体育运动的背景
还要满足：
1）有车，开车轮着转，冬天开车有一定的危险
