用了linux一阵儿了。我用的是学校的centos。但我还没在linux上用过数据库。我就问
问，在linux上怎样detect此linux系统可以连接到怎样的数据库上，就好比，在linux
下detect是否装了某软件，可以用 which 或whereis,那怎样detect数据库呢？可能这
个问题有点傻，大家别见笑。：） |

so I guess ln -s /usr/sbin/gdm /etc/rc5.d/S99gdm?
There is no /etc/init, only /etc/init.d but no gdm. |

例如只知道partial filename 是tester 而不知道full filename 是tester-v2008.exe
.
如何知道系统中是不是有文件 tester-v2008.c ？并且查到它的PATH？
which 和 whereis 好像都要有fullname. 试用过find -name, 可惜只查到部分含有
tester 的文件，没有找到所有包含tester 的文件。 |

set path=($path $HOME/bin), 我的binary在$HOME/bin里，但用
which binary 时，仍然显示旧的binray path, 到底应该怎么加
这个path 呢？ 用了alias, 虽然which时是对了，但是whereis 时
还是旧的。怎么能彻底地把旧命令的一切都覆盖呢？
