mythology has narrower meanings. Only Zeus and his buddies are Gods. A
titan is a God elderly, the parent generation of Gods. In another word,

关于深海鱼的好与坏一直有很多争论，一开始说是好，因为含硒（selenium)高，后来
又说不好，因为含汞高，再后来，注意啦，目前最权威的说法：是要看硒汞的比率，只
要硒的含量比汞高的就是好鱼，可以吃。这些鱼包括Ahi, mahi mahi, yellow fin,
blue fin, salmon, tuna等。不建议吃的有swordfish,whale和大部分鲨鱼。 |

得限制金融业过度投机的方法是有的，抛砖引玉一下
象最近这次London Whale事件，大量卖空CDS的option最后亏了好几个Billion，JPM的
解释说这么做是合理的，因为是要hedge银行的资产不属于纯粹投机。好，基于这个前
提，只是规避风险保护投资人的资产，那么银行就不能通过hedge有大的盈利。银行付
的是premium，赚的也应是premium那部分，也就是实际盈利的千分之一，那么实际赚的
钱交给中介机构统一管理（比如由政府管理的非营利部门），那么同样，有一天它亏的
时候，它只付premium的部分，由中介机构承担大头损失。因为有赚有赔中介机构最后
也不会亏多少。就像汽车保险一样。
现在银行付的是premium赚的是leverage的钱，这样做的风险是抵上银行所有资产包括
它从投资人借来的钱，甚至更多，这就非常不合理了。打个比方，有个赌局，事件A发
生，在对A完全不了解的情况下，庄家要求出100元赢110元可能没多少人愿意赌，但当

终于完成了答辩，忙碌的学期也告一段落了。
我在12月的第一天拿到了offer,谢谢大家前一段时间对我on-site的bless。我说过拿到
offer,一定和大家分享我的找工作经历。虽然这个offer拿到运气成分高一点，但是找
工作的基本经历都是差不多的，想和大家分享一下。
忘记说了，我的专业是化工，找了一个化工的marketing research company的
marketing research analysis的工作,在houston,公司很小，工资不高，就不说出来了
，但是因为能负责中国的业务，也转到偏business方向，自己比较喜欢，就签了。
和现在还在找工作的同志们共勉，希望就在前方
一、关于招聘会
我的专业是chemical engineering,从phd quit拿master找的工作，读的时候研究方向
是tisse engineering.
那时候决定转成master以后，时间很紧张，所以有意留了一个学分到下个学期，让自己
有足够的时间兼顾找工作和写论文。
