普通的家庭，小两口收入都不高，算比较低的
今天只是wedding shower，在自己家里，请了好多人，有人专门拍照，菜里有只烤全猪
，据说光那只小猪就5、600
结婚前一天还有个什么仪式，名字忘了，请自家人去饭店吃饭，他们预计是6、70人，
预算在2000刀以内
然后是婚礼，光摄影的费用就是5000
所有的预算是3万，但他们担心不够，两个人攒了两年，两边家庭还资助了一部分，今
天的wedding shower就是女方的姐姐办的 |

wedding, because $$ spent on
weddings is just like "pouring water"....
I only had 12 tables (minimum for the hotel we picked)
the photographer+videographer package we hired in HK cost over 3000usd
So for pre-wedding photos, we decided to do it in the US because of:
1. I like the natural setting of New England, unlike studios or scenes in HK
, it's too "artificial"
2. pricing. it can also get around 3000usd for a full day |

We've been thinking about having the wedding in the chapel and faculty house
of our alma mater. The major reason I want to get a wedding planner/
coordinator is that I will need someone to coordinate the whole process on
my wedding day. I don't want to worry about all the details and logistics
myself on my big day.
How did those who didn't use a planner manage that issue? Could you share
your experience/thoughts? |

photographer,然后又成天泡flickr，发现自己在所有这些摄影类别里面最喜欢人像
fashion和
wedding.
有些flickr上的摄影师真是拍的太美了！！
ps，我是男的，但是非常喜欢wedding的片子，尤其是婚纱的，真是能把新娘拍到完美
啊。。。

commercial photography is easy to copy,if it was me, I would request to see
the photographer's personal works to see if he really understand photography
as an art or just copy other people's ideas.

很幸福的一对新人，大方，热情。自己操办婚事在美国还是一件比较挑战的事情。新郎
从未名找到我，我们确定了婚礼
之后到DC去拍外景。临近婚礼的几天我们都很紧张，因为天气预报一直是雨，如果那样
，婚礼将会移步室内，而后面的
外拍也可能会告吹。周五我们驱车从NY到MD的时候，天气极坏，是强烈的雷暴。也许正
是这一场大雨，第二天的婚
礼，反而换来了艳阳高照。不得不说，就连天公也作美。 |

2 hours huh? Well seeing how most of us professional wedding photographers
shoot for 10-12+ hours for each wedding....and at your price ($100/hr) that
comes to a grand total of...$1000-$1200(which is pretty damn cheap for a
wedding photog). And then we spend DAYS editing them to perfection (instead
of just handing over a memory card like you do :/ (sketchy)). AND
considering that most of us have over $10k invested in our high quality gear
...we know what we're doing an |

好还是租好。
不过想想，这问题是挺纠结的。
每个女生心中都有个新娘梦，也对自己的wedding dress有过幻想，要是能拥有一件
Rosa Clara或者是Vera Wang的wedding dress该有多好。
转念一想，买了有什么用呢？穿了一次之后就压箱底，这辈子也不会再拿出来，倒不是
没机会穿，anniversary什么的想穿还是可以的，但关键是身材保持不了啊，通常婚后3
个月就别再想穿上当初的婚纱了吧。所以花了大价钱穿这么一次，好像太浪费了一点。
但要是用租的，想想又不甘心，一辈子一次的婚礼，还要穿说不定别人穿过的，实在有
点膈应。
版里的过来人们，你们的wedding dress都是买的还是租的啊？ |
