1.NO DH. They have to make a choice between NJohnson and Giambi. the most
headache is pitcher have to hit. if comes to close game, they would face a
dilemma, such as game 7 in ALCS. will they stick with Rivera or PH for him.
that is also part of the reason in game 4, joe chose weaver over MO. plus he
just pitched two inning a day earlier. but it is obvious joe was reluctant to
use rivera. he tried to save him at save situation.

Lost: Pettitte, Clemens, Weaver, Hammond, (Nelson maybe)
Added: Brown, Vazquez, a healthy Karsay, a healthy Lieber
Conclusion: if Brown is healthy then pitching didn't lose some.
Hitting/fielding:
Lost: Nick Johnson, Juan Rivera
Added: Sheffield
Conclusion: upgrade on both

死一个。
不用把什么都归结到pitcher适应不了NY的气氛，否则要pitching
coach有什么用。
单论能力，Pavano, Wright别说和Vazquez，Brown比了，Weaver，
Contreras也不见得差到哪去，前途如何难以预测。
而关于Vazquez，从stuff, 年龄等方面综合考量, 换一个球速下降
了4-5 mph, 年过40，还坏了一个膝盖的Big Unit，真不知道从何说
起了。 |

一个别人就少一个，of and 1b 普遍火力强，厚度比较好，决定赌博一下后几轮再挑。
第一轮：chase Utley, 其实是想抢一条的，被人接护了。
第二轮：joe mauer, 打击率象去年那么高不现实，.300还是有希望的。
第三轮：michael young, 希望hank blalock能够苏醒过来，游骑兵需要得很多份才能在
alw出头。其实是想抢jermin dye或者vernon wells, 早早的就是别人的baby了。
第四轮：jered weaver, fastball/changup pitcher,属于我比较喜欢的类型，希望没
搞错。
第五轮：adam dunn, 其实很不愿意选他，BA 太低，SO无数（>160!!!!）,问题是后面的
thome, chipper jones, todd helton都在走下坡路，dunn好歹还有3-40个longball, r
eds的主场是mlb数得着的hitter's park.

has some importance, not as many here claimed as "garbage" or useless. W is
not everything, but W is still quite something for a SP.
For example, if CY is given right now, or at current numbers extrapolate to
end of season with 25W, CC will get it for the dominant Wins but slightly
worse in other catergories, compared to Verlander or Weaver.
Just consider the RBI in running stats. Is it an important stat? Of course.
