are for rent while condo are for being owned.
Buying a condo for your own living after reirement? Economically speaking,
Westwood might not be the good one. You might conside 55+ condos in the
future. They might charge you leg and arms for the maintenance, like those
in Walpole (I couldn't think better ways to lose money on buying a condo at
wrong time and place).

Sharon 差太多，如果家长抓得紧点儿孩子又不太受小伙伴影响，还是很推荐，60万买
很新很好的房子，我们一年前在 Norwood 和 Westwood 的最后两个房子中很难做选择
，最后还是选了 Westwood，因为小孩性格很受 peer influence。Walpole 还不错就是
commute 不方便。 |

take approximately one hour. There are train stations at nearby Norwood and
Walpole, which is about 5-12 minutes away, but do look for houses in the

spoiled, they thought you are a schmuck and they could ask any number they
want.
Curret trend in industry for small builders, not sure about Boston area, is
modular home. Notice that modular is neither mobile, nor manufactued house.
They have different meannings, blame this on the complexity of English.

发帖数: 107 | 44 是啊，我也觉得7年换一次还不算太频繁。成本可能也不太高。所以很多人都做7年ARM
，尤其是利率高的时候。
不过我们好像都是享受型的，都受不了好区的小黑屋，所以想是不是先买个一般区比较
喜欢的房子住7+年左右。等还在要上中学了再换好区的好房子。这个途径是不是跟先买
好区的差房子差不多。缺点可能是一般区的好房子可能没那么好卖。好区即使小黑屋都
卖的很快。还有好区的房子升值潜力大，相对是更好的投资。不过我觉得自住房不能光
考虑投资，主要还是一个消费品，住的舒服享受最重要，只要不是BELOW AVERAGE的黑
人区，蓝领区去就行。
看过LEXINGTON只有一个FULL BATH, 无车库的小房子，七十多万，乌鸦乌鸦的人去看
OPEN HOUSE.同样一般区同等价位的房，明显高大上多了，但看OPEN HOUSE的人少很多。 |

以我在美国买房经验， 同等价位能买好区够住房决不买一般区新大房。15年前 三个人
都是买了400-500K的房子， 一个人买的远郊一般区的新大房， 最近换房到好区住小黑
屋； 另一个人买的是ny城里的townhouse， 后来回国， 出售特别快（赚得钱就不说了
）， 第三个人当时买的是最好区老房， 现在留着这个房子出租， 又买了另外的同一
个区的新房子自住， 老房租金足以cover 新房。
