I entered at 8am and got my visa at 11am, no interview, just submitted
materials, sit there and wait.
They only call the number (given to you after you submitted the materials)
if they need to interview you. If your number gets passed, that means they
already approved you without seeing you. |

I have been to Canada a few times, and have good standing status and a valid
visa back to US -- how inconceivable this is to get checked by Canadian
bums?!
The question is: does anyone know why I am getting checked? I am dying to
know! Should I book the tickets to canada at all? Or I should wait for my
visa back first? |

VO told me that it would take 3 weeks, and asked me to go to the post office
to pick up my visa when it is done. I am wondering if I can contact the
Beijing consulate to consult the status of my visa. I couldn't find any
email on their website, and the phone number they provide is the paid phone
line for booking the visa interview. I wonder what do people do when they
are waiting for their visa clearance. Thanks a lot! |

in November, cleared everything up and told me they started working on my
offer package 3 weeks ago, a few days ago, told me final package is sent to
HR...
Still hasn't received the written offer yet....This is a mental torture... I
am ready to move on already... |

date around August 2008. The current job is stable, but I don't think I will
have a good career development in the company. After working here for 3.5
years, I still have not got any chance to lead a project while my peers are
already project leaders. Technically I am not very top, above average;
people-skill-wise, I am just average.
Should I stay waiting for green card (I really doubt if I will get it in 2

I have to wait the confirmation receipt to mail the supporting materials?

but I still didn't hear anything. Called USCIS, and gave me a referral# but
asked me to wait for another 45 days, ft... Is this normal? My company-
sponsered EB2 140 approved months ago and I checked that A#s are same in two
cases. Anything could go wrong? Now wonder who I am, maybe used to be a
terrorist, keke. |

But what I am interested in is EB number allocated through CP. There is
quite a good portion or percentage of EB visa numbers that are allocated to
CP as well. I don't know the detail percentage, maybe around 30-40% of total
EB category are still approved through CP. I am wondering, are those CP
approved numbers the cases described as above, namely, people with 140
approved, but go back to china to wait for visa available. And how many such
cases are approved each fiscal year |

"Your request to have the I-140 to be transferred has been granted. Your
cases are now waiting clearance from another agency before the I-485s can be
adjudicated. The adjudicating officer will be checking for your clearances
weekly. As soon as this occurs your applications will be adjudicated."
What? my pending 485 has been sitting there for 2.5 years and clearance
process hasn't done yet. |

USCIS records indicate that the recently approved XXXXX has been
consolidated into the A file of the primary applicant. Service records
farther indicate that at this time the case is assigned to an officer.
Although assigned, we cannot predict the date the case may actually receive
review.
If the applicant has not received a decision or other notice of action on
this case with in 60 days, please contact us for updates.

June 23ed NSC center with no -pp.
So far it is almost 7 month. I still not heard anything except AP,EAD.
I filed service request today but do not sure it will help. Since I called
the USCIS couple of month ago, they do not answer my question because of I
am not the petitioner.
Sign. It is too long to wait... My lawyer do not support for PP as well.
Can we send email to senator or who ever for 140?
Anyone knows thanks a lot |

We just received the approval notice of our I485 applications. The H4
application is still pending.
Should I call USCIS to withdraw the H4 application, or wait it to be denied?
Any suggestions? |

situation is pretty bad and complicated, and my case is pretty weak as well
(see my post for detail). However, I would rather get a quick result (good
or bad) than wait and be tortured. Best luck! |

lawyer about your normal petition. YOU haven't had any taste of how really
stressful the life can be.
Just be grateful that you are eligible to apply for Eb1 and very likely you
will get it smoothly. Think about people have to wait for years for the
priority date become current. And other people in more miserable life. |

after SR, but received another after approved notice saying so decision yet.
I do not think SR is helpful at all. They do not communicate to each other. |

本来是公司sponsor EB1B的。现在还有必要吗？
如果明年一月交485，要大概多少时间能批准？

这份数据是统计在海外等待绿卡的case，即consular processing cases。
其中EB-2 China-mainland born 1,053表示截止11/1/2011有1053个中国EB2在海外等绿
卡，这些人的排期可能是2007-2011中的任何一天。
而且这1053人中很多人其实已经在美国境内，这些人一旦排期排到，他们可以选择放弃
境外拿绿卡的方式，而选择在境内递I-485以转身份方式拿绿卡，即绝大多数EB2拿绿卡
的方式。 |
