B&W KEF paradigm还有polk
听了B&W 683 684 685 CM1 CM5 CM9 802D 803D 805S
６８５系列性价比不错 高中低都有了 但中频不是那么厚 有点毛刺感
ＣＭ解析好 但也就那样了 没有特别震撼的感觉
８００系列明显好很多 ８０５s 相比685 中频更厚 声场更广 算是比较震撼
但听流行也就跟685差不多
可惜他们价格比较坚挺，dealer一般只给可怜的10% discount
KEF IQ1 IQ3 IQ7 跟600系列可能是一个档次的吧，但不是很喜欢 特别是低音
折扣较多 特别是网上
paradigm 的monitor series 跟b&w600系列差不多 可能稍差一点
没怎么谈价格
polk的 lsi 9 rti 12 rti 7 清一色至少50% off
以前国内也听过dynaudio elac还是比较喜欢b&w的风格
本来想入B&W 685的，最后还是选805了，mid range好很多

比下去。

最近系里payroll秘书让填写tax witholding information form
有几个问题求解答：
1）其中包含w-9和w-4，是不是他们把我弄成resident alien了？
2）w-4中我是否应该在line 7中注明exempt？payroll的人说这是个trick，写了以后工
资就不会扣税，但她也不保证这样做完全没问题。我是应该先交税，还是直接exempt？
3）我是否需要填form 8833?

相当于刚来1个月，工资还没发，应该满足三年免税的条件
最近系里payroll秘书让填写tax witholding information form
有几个问题求解答：
1）其中包含w-9和w-4，是不是他们把我弄成resident alien了？
2）w-4中我是否应该在line 7中注明exempt？payroll的人说这是个trick，写了以后工
资就不会扣税，但她也不保证这样做完全没问题。我是应该先交税，还是直接exempt？
3）我是否需要填form 8833?

的W-7。但是我昨天做税表时看见现在有2010年1月版的W-7，请问一下各位是不是W-7一
定要填最新版的？现在签字来不及了。
看了看，2009年3月版和2010年1月版的内容基本一样，但是没有找到2010年1月版的
INSTRUCTION，不知道寄的地方是不是变了，2009年3月版是让寄到AUSTIN，TX，现在W-
7寄的地址改变了吗？ |

万恶的学校把w-2等一堆东西寄到了我在中国的地址
现在还没到。
如果我在4/15之前还没收到这些文件，需要向IRS申请延长期限吧？
那是要填 8809呢，还是 4852？还是4868？我在网站上逛啊逛看到几个topic的描述都
挺像，周围也没人有类似经验。
8809：application for extension of time to file information returns
(for forms W-2 series, W-2G, 1042-S, 1098 series, 1099 series, 3921,
3922,
5498 series, and 8027)
4852：substitute for form W-2, wage and tax statement, or form 1099-R,
distributions from pensions, annuities, retirement or profit-sharing
plans

我phd第六年，收到W-2和1042-S，W-2第一栏已经减去了5000块。这样报税没问题。
问题是ld是F1 opt第一年，也收到W-2和1042-S，但是W-2第一栏是实际收入，没有减去
5000。根据以往的说法，这种情况应该使用8833表，并且在1040的line 21写-5000。可
是这样的话1042S怎么处理？
另外我们想一起报税，如果她的税这样处理，还能和我jointly的报税么？同样的表格
不同的处理方法，IRS会不会找麻烦？ |
