internet videos.
OggTheora is based on On2 VP3 or VP4 when On2 open sourced it.
Free Software Foundation wants Google to free VP8 codec, because presumable
by doing so VP8 will be loyalty free for Mozilla and Opera like.
Let's see whether Google does it or not. If not, just prove Google is not
not evil. |

VP8的spec写的其烂无比，充其量是一个软件文档。
VP8的整数DCT在整个解码器里是一个很小很小的模块，整数DCT，如果butterfly也在
spec中定下来了，那个iDCT模块的verilog代码也就几十行。你可以去对着google开源
的vp8的代码看看。
希望对你有用。
不过我觉得google马上就要吃专利官司了，vp8模仿了不少264的技术，google这头肥羊
不宰，那就没天理了，lol |

纯粹发神经
结果发现字体现实效果太差，比起Mac和Ubuntu都查好多
发现是因为除Ubuntu其他都不敢用一个苹果
或微软专利来渲染字体
于是差点受不了就改装Ubuntu
还好发现有流传的修改过的软件包，装上之后字体就几乎完美了。
一个字体渲染都这么多专利问题
我看x264开发者说得不错，这个VP8自称没有专利问题，实际上可能侵犯了不少。
据说这个VP8比VC-1还接近H.264。
不过据说苹果这个专利刚刚过期了。 |

mp3编码的只有64k单声道
H264里面的音频用AAC编码，可以达到152kbps
WebM/VP8用开源Vorbis，码率可高达192k
AAC的编码质量，在同码率情况下还是要比MP3好很多的 |
