for overnight charging, 110V household outlet is just enough.
the J1772 connector (on the car end) can be used outdoor in rains and snows.
you just need to make sure the outlet side must be weather protected, i.e.
GFCI, or indoor. It is also suggested to make sure your wiring can take at
least 12A current, though, most household outlets have >=15A capacity.

new specs just got leaked. AER increases by 20% to 50 mi with a 20kWh
battery. if the rumored 50/50 is going to be true, then the gas MPG will be
close to 50.
I don't care about gas mpg, but AER increase does look attractive. EPA 50 mi
means 60ish real-life miles. that will cover 98-99% of my needs.

Arizona买回来的,not eligible for CA state rebate and green sticker.给我两个
选择:1)退我$1500 (相当是state rebate); 2)把车还回去,再换另外一辆(还
不知道有没有一样的库存)。我当然不选择#1,没有green sticker就没必要lease电动
车了。但选择#2好像很麻烦,得退车,再买新车,很多手续,不知道里面有没有什么
trick。
我自己想到的另外一个选择就是完全退了,去别处再买。但是trade in了我的老车,不
知道能不能要得回来。另外,我用了一个自己的$1000的private offer,不知道能不能
退回来。
请高人指点,第一次lease车,跟dealer打交道真是恐怖:) |

rotate tires. >90%纯电驾驶,家里有太阳能发电,所以几乎没有成本。电池到现在没
有任何衰减。10年后预计有30%衰减,到时可以当hybrid. Hybrid mode下,gas
mileage 是38,GM一点也没多说。
电车维持成本非常低,几乎不用换油和刹车。低速加速很快,有人抱怨头晕,所以要悠
着点儿开。呵呵 |

some of the cells show age. Gen 1 Volt only charges 65% of the battery full
capacity; Gen 2 uses more, but still less than 75%.
10 years is a long way. many things can happen, such as third-party
replacement battery market, or battery rejuvenation. |

basic model (LT) with comfortable package. MSRP $34455, got nearly $6000 off
, including $4250 dealer discount (including all qualified rebates), $1000
private offer and $700 costco rebate. Subtracting the 7500 federal tax
credit and 2500 MA rebate, the car is only $19200 before TTL ($2353).
I could have got $5000 dealer discount if I move ahead with a blue premier
that I was initially negotiated for.

cord? if so, it is not useful at all, because you can get an L2 charging
station with that money.
The all weather floor mat is useful, I have it in my 14 volt, but you can
get a 3rd party all weather floor mat for under $20. |
