softer and worked great in powder. Later version
is much harder, not as fun and harder to turn in powder.

One of my best ski friends got a pair of 2011 shogun early this season.
He is the best carving skier I have seen in this small New England ski
resort. He skied about 20 yrs, >50 times per year recently. His
previous one is 2009 tigershark 8 foot (maybe that is the reason:)).
The shogun looks very pretty in the snow. He told me they are light,
works very good in crud, easy to turn in mogul, much better than 8 feet
in powder. But it is difficult to carve, to "trust the edge".

As a rookie skier myself and according to other reviews, I guess it is
less categorized as all-mt-ski than Mantra or Prophet 100 in groomers
(never skied them before myself). |

coast reviewed by many pros. |

发帖数: 883 | 28 I had the Mantra 184 (94waist) for over two seasons, here are my personal
observation: it is so powderful in those long arc turns, good in crud, ok in
powder, ok on grooms, no good in bumps or short turns. It is not a soft ski
so not a good option if you like to play some tricks. Lastly, heavy and
demanding, but can be very fun in those powdery days with long turns or no
turns. |

I like skis with funcy looking,good jump and jib functionality. Bought 2010 line
blend with good deal. New 2011 line blend are built with rocker, that's why 2010 was on sale.
I may jump for a rocker next season if I save some money...
