衷，bring data to the people。和Christian Chabot在去年的customer conference
上聊过，他说他一直认为data analysis应该是人人都可以做的事情，我觉得Tableau很
成功的把这个门槛降低了。而且在data visualization上确实很powerful。虽然没试过
big data,不过经常用Tableau分析billion级的数据，performance也很好。 |

It hasn’t been long since Google acquired Quest Visual and their Word Lens
app, and now the app has gone free on the App Store. The Word Lens app
translates any text between different languages in an instance, while that
may not sound very novel the interesting thing is this app can translate
words from an image as well.
Not only has the app gone free, but all in-app purchases are also free to
download.

Today, Microsoft announced that it has acquired HockeyApp, a startup that
lets developers beta test their apps on iOS, Android, and Windows.
This deal follow’s Apple’s February acquisition of Burstly, the parent
company of HockeyApp competitor TestFlight.
Microsoft says it plans to integrate aspects of HockeyApp into “Visual
Studio Online to expand Application Insights support for iOS and Android.”
