发帖数: 2869 | 3 医院的急诊也是外包的。我的看病费用分2个部分，一部分是给医院的急诊费用，因为是雇员ER COPAY只有80刀，很便宜
了。其他全部购销如果是住院的话基本是100%WRITE OFF. 另外一个部分：如果看了ER PHYSICIAN 要给你CHARGE一些钱，如果有LAB，X RAYS啥的也是额外的CHARGE,
这个BILL来自于他们，所以这个钱其实医院并没有赚，
不过我现在还根本没有收到那个ER PHYSICIAN的BILL也不知道他们是来自何方，就知道
我大概自己要出300多，根据保险公司的说法的话。所以只不过这个部分有点烂罢了。反正我现在2月看病现在账单还没收到，上次 收到过一次他们BILL错了，因为他们当时没有BILL我的保险，现在他们还没有给我寄出来还不知道是我MISS了反正这个周期真的很长。。一个破ER VIST 弄了3,4个月还没有搞定，呵呵，到时候再让他们追债追个半年吧。
而且2月份，当时我在ER见的其实还不是医生，是服务医生的PA，他知道我的情况的严重。
没啥。主要还
是保险公司的抵赖。

for PhD, and I finally chose the latter one even though UR has a higher
ranking in the field of my study than the other one. The main reasons are two:
1. I like the program of the second university better than that of UR
2. The weather in Rochester did not give me a good impression when I was

比如 1,2,3,4,2 这样的循环，结果应该是2,3,4 你用set怎么能把1去掉呢？
我觉得用 linkedlist + hashmap比较好，trace the references into linkedlist,
当current reference已经在hashmap里，把current之前的node都从linkedlist里删掉
就是结果。
不过怎么能去掉duplicate呢？例子中的2,3,4 和 3,4,2是重复的。我觉得还要一个2维
visted flag数组，凡是visited的string就不处理了。
当然最终结果也是多个，返回ArrayList>

诊所医院是网络内的 看来像是用了out of network的provider? 或者是High
deductible plan? 那也会有一个charge/billed和what you owe...的两个数字啊 因为
保险公司一般会有打折的 医生charge的钱只有一部分能得到 没有具体的账单和你的
plan还有具体的benefit design 谁也回答不了你的问题啊 |

现在情况是合同还有一个月多一点到期，现在一个选择是继续在老板这转成自费的J1。
豁免后让老婆去上学，自己换成F2，会有时间去找下家或者找工作。
想问问这种情况办豁免会不会有问题？需要offer letter和support letter有没有具体
的要求？比如现在给我的合同写着是adjunt visting scholor，写着没有pay和benefit
，还要求走之前3个月通知老板。如果
support是必须的，还恐怕到时候会被要挟。老板这么晚通知我，还有后面的一些事，无
非就是想让我在这免费干一年，都是被没经费逼得，哎 |

而不是H-1B，所以想让我转换我现在的F-1到J-1。因为不太熟悉J-1签证，所以想问问
版内的前辈们：
如果我是自费留学生，只拿过学校的ASSISTANTSHIP，没有拿过中美两国政府的资助，
可以申请转换成J-1吗？
如果转换J-1后未来需要申请H签证或是绿卡，是不是还是要申请J-waiver,还需要回国
服务两年什么的吗？
不知道有没有过来人能帮忙解答下这两个问题？不知道像我这种情况申请转换J-1会不
会有问题？非常非常感谢! |

他们16日到京，17日在使馆门口探风，当日是2000的，他们讲20%签出。
18日他们排到一个秃头中年男子签证官，据说是最凶的,今年在北京签过F-1的多半都知道
他。
问了一下3个问题：(肯定是仔细研究过DS-156了)
1。你们什么人在美国
(答：儿子，女儿)
2。你们有几个孩子
(答：就这两个)
3。你们最后一次和孩子什么时候见的面
(答：女儿春节回来了，儿子9月份刚去)
这时候，他们觉得玄了，这正是我们最担心的问题。
然后，VO要我的材料，
他们将我给VO和他们的信及我的所有材料递上，
VO仔细看了我的信，并把我的材料逐页仔细看过，然后上网查了什么(或上机干了什么)，
然后给了他们签证。根本没要他们费心准备的材料。
材料都是按精华区准备的。他们还复印了祖父母的户口和身份证，表明有父母要抚养。
但没用上。
他们讲当天签过大概30%。另一中年妇女VO也据签不少。
他们很幸运能在秃头VO手下过。
但：VO只给了他们3个月有效的VISA，一次entries，
可恨的是：并在annotation上注明了"one month vist to daughter" |

officer give them another opportunity and can vist them anytime without
paying visa fee, just bring my tax form 1040 and earning statement W2. My
bad as I did not give them these forms. I gave them these forms last time,
but got rejected. this time I gave the bank statement.
Emailed these docuemtns, so they will try again today(5/30).

妈很机灵，从准备签证到拿到签证，那个聪明劲都是让老公在一旁赞叹不已啊。
我的情况也很简单，老公和我都是H1B.来美国后，妈妈来visting了一次，三个月就回
去的，然后连着两年我都回国探亲了。爸爸死活不肯出来，说是来美国就是受苦，不如
