几个general的问题：
1.我有一个equipment list，比如需要UV-vis。然后他们说，我们有share的
equipments，
你用那个就行了。估计他们就会把那个从start up上删掉，但是如果heavily used的仪
器如果是
share的，毕竟不爽。应该怎么deal with这种情况？
2.在我的list上要了一个仪器，比如他们给钱了。后来，我可能刚刚开始的时候不会买
（有可能短时
间内都不买），他们会不会很怒？
3.一个medical school，要几个initial的postdoc support比较reasonable？

另外，看板上很多人都觉得实在没的选了才去读postdoc,可是我一直觉得与其去一个很
差的学校做faculty, 不如读牛校的postdoc给自己的background加分，以退为进，花个
两三年的时间，多发点文章，为将来找faculty打好基础。这时我个人意见，欢迎不同

巧的是，之前我申请的另外一个学校B昨天给我打电话问我有没有兴趣，是不是还
available。
这两个都是visiting的职位。那个学校A是2个opening，因为有人退休，有人离开。
明年会请学校批准tenure track。
昨天打电话的那个学校B，chair告诉我说明年也有一个opening，是学校已经批准了的。
我现在还应该跟昨天打电话的学校继续进一步谈吗？
我总觉得之前那个学校都面试完了，人家也说了offer you the job了，我是不是不好
反悔了？
不过学校B要求本科的正式成绩单，我都用完了，可能还要越洋去弄，是不是很麻烦？
对了，我有一同学在学校A，是AP.
像这种VF,明年申请tt的时候会不会比外面的申请者有优势呢？ |

除非外面的特别优秀，而且原来那个实在太差劲。
不好意思，系里这么做就是为了应付学校，省得说他们招人不走正常程序。你成为他们
这场show的配角了。
从另一方面说，以后有visiting的位置也要尽量争取，搞不好下一年就成为permanent
的了。 |

大。有的学校可以直接转正，有的要重新申请，重新面试，很头痛的。 |
