因为ld看上了他家一个镜框，就去他家配眼镜了。距离很远，要一个多小时的车程。第
一次去不冷不热，第二次约了个appt，也就验光的那个女医生还nice，那个白人老板一
副尖酸像，总觉得在哪个卖车的dealer见过，一个老黑秘书，我们配眼镜给你眼镜的
insurance就行了呗，非TMD要我medical insurance，当时就很不爽。今天去取眼镜，
屋里客人不多，进门居然没有任何人跟我们打招呼，连句hi都没有，那个老板一脸贱相
，倒是对后来的白人很热情。老黑秘书提供给insurance的information不全，导致
flexible account的reimbursement给deny了，我问她，这sb啥也不知道，还推说这得
我自己联系。我以前在其他地方的expenses都是直接就转账了，根本没用我联系。这倒
算了，我们取完眼镜离开，没人say bye，老板和秘书直接躲进屋里。。。
感觉很是不爽，很明显的歧视，可笑的是你们要是不喜欢asian，就别做asian这个人群

这个app 99 刀，跟普通的iPad app比，贵很多。但作为飞机的一套backup instrument
加 synthetic vision， 真不贵。
这个app，就是利用iPad自己的GPS, compass 和gyro，再加上app的数据，给你提供很
多信息，包括6-pack (attitude, altitude, TAS，heading, turn coordinator, VSI
）。其他的信息包括 location, ground speed, nearby airports, navigation,
terrain, altitude AGL 等等。
可能最有用的，大家又希望永远用不到的功能，就是engine－out guidance。当你的引
擎停止时（敲敲木头），它能自动找到最近的机场，并给你提供最短的glide 路线。
这个app感觉还是处于初期阶段，界面并不是特别的intuitive，尤其是navigation不能

Nvidia在半年前的CES上推出了Nvidia 3D Vision立体眼镜。熟悉这个公司历史的同学
们知道，这不是他们第一次尝试立体眼镜。事实上从TNT的时代就有过类似产品，后来
在6800GT的年代又偷偷试过，驱动里一直支持到7950GT。这些尝试因为S3D效果差，使
用者容易头昏眼花，因此和影视业往S3D方向的努力一样，都可耻地失败了。那么这次
俺和大家一样，认为无非又是S3D的沉渣泛起，一开始也没注意。契机是从买显示器开
始，当时追求true 120HZ买了Samsung 2233rz（btw 120hz确实让某些fps可以很高的
FPS游戏感觉好一点，但是其它类型游戏基本没区别），因为知道这个显示器支持这个
S3D系统，又查了一下网上的review和论坛们居然普遍说好，那么就买来试试。周末闭
关两日+几位朋友上门的初步结论是--确实很好，但是个人差异极大，建议感兴趣又不
是富到小李飞美刀的同学 |

一不足是我的近视眼镜上面还得套一个3D眼镜，脸上的负荷重了一点，不过目前来说也

，效果反而不好。
而一个瞬间，比如交换戒指，接吻，抛花之类的，最好的机位一般也就1-2个，不太可
能4-5个摄影师一起来。所以如果真是1万张那是相当夸张的，相当于就是无脑一直在按
快门。而且这么给客户客户得如此选啊。。。。
前阵子有个朋友在tang vision来芝加哥的时候请他们拍了一套，我觉得效果很一般，
没敢问价格。网上查了下，如果让创始人来拍的话价格实在吓人离谱。 |

.0 earthquake—the worst in the region’s history—struck today at about 5 p
.m. local time. Communication with our office in Port-au-Prince, the capital
, has been limited, but we do know that none of the World Vision staff
members in Haiti were hurt or killed, although the homes of at least three
were damaged.

top tier: ICCV/ECCV/CVPR/BMVC+PAMI/IJCV。
此外，做graph的不一样，得有SIGGRAPH+ACM T Graphics；做medical的，则是IEEE T Med Image+Elsevier Med Image Analy。 |

image processing顾名思义，是对图像本身的处理，包括滤波、压缩等等，处理结果
也应该是图像。但似乎常见的也包括一些低级语义信息的提取，比如边缘检测、图像
分割等等。
computer vision是从图像或者视频里抽取语义信息的过程，语义可以是高级，比如
人脸表情、事件分析等等，也可能是低层，也包括图像分割、边界抽取等等。总之
无所不包，嘿嘿。
可以把视觉看成是比图像处理高一个层次的操作。在进行视觉操作前，可能要用图像
处理技术进行一些预处理。
