印度人能吹牛逼不假，可是为什么这么有市场，很多大公司听了印度人的吹牛之后纷纷
把ceo这么重要的职位交给烙印去做？原因就是老印知道什么是这个时代的潮流，什么
东西说出去能够吸引人，这就是vision。烙印的弱点是技术能力不够强以至于吹得再好
也没能力实现这些东西。不过这没什么，雇老中就够了。
我最担心的是IT界的金字塔已经快建好了，顶端是老印，底端是老中。这种等级结构一
旦形成，几百年之内老中也只有做牛做马了。当然我不是搞IT的，可是看着这么多搞IT

Greatmall里面有家Vision Insight Optometry， 挺好的， 镜架选择远远多于其他的

Now I am not supprised that more than a half of the Turing Award winners are
from TCS.

even AZ). An interesting story is that all big vision guys went to his home
to celebrate his 60th birthday, with many of them cs dept heads or graduate
chairs. Someone was joking, "if the terrorists were to explode a bomb in
this house, computer vision will be over" :P TK has made great contribution
to robotics as well.

而且很多公司还要求其它一些琐碎的工具。
都说有domain knowledge的码工职业发展比较好。
但是在myvisa和玻璃门上查工资，发现工资并不高。在加州，senior scientist 是十
万到十二万左右。
搞不清楚这个job market了。
分析原因，可能PhD里做computer vision的太多，所以供大于求。 |

I have been looking around for a decent nVidia 3D vision monitor for a while
now with at 1920x1080 and I was hoping one would go down to at least $350.
This isn't quite there but I'm totally jumping on this deal. It comes with
the 3D vision kit, which retails at $200 so your basically paying $200 for
the monitor and $200 for the vision kit.

刚拿到google的offer，面试比较走运，没有team match就签了offer，HR说给我慢慢

只有可能用租赁的方式花小钱 弄一个来玩玩
Night vision 的 Night vision 的敏感度和分辨率不够
家里面找漏水 还是要用老方法 常常检查有可能漏水的地方

是VSP) 吗？ VSP 是验光配镜用的。 要是眼睛有另外的问题就要用health insurnce
。 所以，当妈的觉得没有必要给小娃上VSP。 牙齿的保险觉得也不用太早，应该小孩
1 岁才开始去看儿童牙医。所以觉得没有必要生下来就要 Vision 和牙齿 保险。就给

4/29 上store N 做 eye exam, 被告知眼镜和contact两周之后到。取了trial X (左眼
和右眼），并约了5/13取眼镜和contact。付了９００刀包括眼镜和１６盒contact就回
家了。
5/13 上store N 取，被告知眼镜和contact尚未抵达，必须再等两周。抱着急需眼镜的
心态，以及从未和N有任何的问题的前提下，接受了N的说法，两周来取。
5/28 上store N 取，被告知眼镜和contact尚未抵达。原因出至Davis Vision lab将镜
框使坏，store N 从新邮了一个镜框至lab。所以得再等几天。俺表示不满。但是由于
上诉理由，俺又妥协了。等眼镜到达时让他们给俺打电话。
6/6 上store N 取，被告知眼镜和contact尚未抵达。原因不详。店员表示周一会打电
话至Davis Vision求证。俺大怒。告知店员暂停动作，并约了doctor 6/10 复检眼睛。
从4/29 至6/6 已有五周，俺觉得俺的trial X视力不对，需要从新评估。

唯一有机会的是对方如果白纸黑字写下“5/12交货”或广告上注明“x天交货,"才有一

，也就是再等下去。如果明天Davis Vision不能解决，只有栽了。 |
