mexico visa。
本人在加州，F1,签证过期3年，LP持F2,有Multiple Entry美国签证（前不久她回国
Renew过visa）。
今天去墨西哥领馆，材料齐，持有效I20和学校SISS的一份信（告诉Mexico Consulate
我可以用过期visa返美），外加打印下面的规定。

办事小姐看了我们的材料，问了一下她的supervisor，很快就说没有任何问题，留下护
照。按了手印，拍了照片。叫我们2天后去取Visa。
之前在这个版上看了好多人写的去mexico领馆申请签证，因为没有有效返美签证，要1
个多月寄回mexico city处理的情况。一直担心我们的机票宾馆要cancel了。
看来没有想象中那么麻烦。

被这个事情烦了很久，前些天也在版上问过，没有结论。因为离出海很近了，没的办法
，只好自己坐chinatown的车去纽约了一趟。（PS：碰到luckystar网页出问题，round
trip只花了3刀，这个赞一下）
下面说说签证情况：（跟他们官方网页还是很不一样）
当时以为要4－8周才能拿到签证，没想到2个小时就搞定了。
材料：
官方网站down的一个申请表
系里的在读证明（估计这就算是网页上说的bank statement了）
老板的support letter
我们cruise的cheif scientist的support letter
passport （另外加一张visa照片）
passport，返美visa 和I20 复印件
我带了这么多，他们全收了，不过有些都不知道需不需要，赫赫

10月底要去挪威开会，去5天就回来。美国的visa十二月中旬才过期，照理说是有回美
国的有效签证的，只是没有满足“validity of at least three (3) months beyond your stay in the schengen area”的要求。这样可以申请申根visa吗？

expired F1 visa on my passport but I-797 for my H1B visa. What happened is
the cruise company didn't take my parents' I-94 because the Visa has
expired.But they took my I-94 because they think my H1B visa is still valide
according to the I-797. The check in people of the cruise company seem to
know how to handle the situation pretty well. On the second day of the
cruise, they returned my I-94 to my cabin. So all of us |

This is wrong. You can specifically ask for transit visa. As long as you
have an qualifying itinery.
Wrong. Transit visa can be valid for 15 days. This is what I got.
Correct. But visa fee may change on April 1.
For transit visa, only itinery is needed. No hotel reservation needed. |

渥太华的日本驻加拿大大使馆网站，明确写了TRANSIT VISA是最多15天，TEMP VISA是
90天。详细列了所有申请材料。
我理解两者的区别就是：TRANSIT VISA 一定要顺道游日本。
网站明确写了要出示去第三国的机票。如果只是美国直飞日本来回，就不属于TRANSIT
VISA范围了。我猜的。 |

今天下午领事馆打电话过来说不能给你transit visa
她说你要在日本停四天，这种情况只能申temporary visit visa
还一再强调说是领事馆决定给你哪种visa
transit visa只是用来transit下一趟航班的
我说我在外务省的网页上看transit visa没那么多乱七八糟的限制
她说外务省或DC怎么说他们不管，完全是纽约领事馆决定
然后我就说我没有担保人在日本，就withdraw申请了
材料他们明天给我寄回来
整个过程工作人员很友善，很有礼貌
不过就是不肯发过境签证：（
我甚至问如果我把停留时间改成一天成不，
她说有可能可以，不过不能保证。
我在想问题可能出在我给领事馆发了停留四天的day by day schedule了
所以他们认为我要sightseeing,要申旅游签证。
不过如果我不给他们发，他们就会觉得东京到上海航班那么多，你干吗要停四天
所以很纠结，最后还是发了过去，果然杯具了
想问问大家我要不要找个时间再去面签一次？
有谁最近签过的说说看这些问题该怎么解决？

As long as you have a Chinese passport and a valid US visa, you are allowed
to transit at Vancouver or Toronto without a Canadian visa now.You used to
have to get a Canadian visa to do that, but that policy has been changed
couple of weeks ago. So you are fine.
所以来回都不需要transit visa，前提是第一张贴上的那些条件你符合。哈哈。。。省

Alaska cruise. I took my parents for a trip.
You need to have a valid Canadian visa, should be multi-entry one if you
take Seattle round-trip, and single entry if one-way from Alaska to
Vancouver, Canada requires a visa even if you don't go offshore and leave
the same day on the ship.

事情是这样的，我们在2007年七月大潮的时候提交的I-485申请，这个月CURRENT。刚收
到移民局的RFE。需要提供CURRENT 的VISA SCREEN CERTIFICATE，还有就是现在
EMPLOYMENT LETTER。一查才发现原来VISA SCREEN是五年到期的，她是在美国读的护士
所以当初申请过一次之后这么多年了再也没过，几乎没有印象了，时间仓促（只有80几
天） 请问版上有类似经历的给些指导。下面是我查到的一些信息和疑问。
如果过期时间超过一年，那么还可以做ONLINE的RENEW吗？如果不可以，现在重新申请
要多久的批复时间？
如果可以申请，官网上的一些信息，我的理解是第一次办的时候登记过他家的网上账
户，LICENSE,DIPLOMA之类都还在，那么是不是只需要补齐CURRENT的RN LICENSE 和符
合下面这个工作条件来WAIVE 他们的ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS就可以了呢? 那么这样网上

7月16日，WTO公布的专家组报告称，中国银联在中国垄断了人民币支付卡的发行和
使用。多位银行卡组织的业内人士对此的解读是，根据WTO的相关规则，如果一方放弃
申诉，就意味着接受裁决，也意味中国将有义务将电子支付服务市场逐步对外开放，银
联以外的其他卡组织将被允许在中国境内发行人民币支付卡。
此外，随着市场逐步被放开，持卡人和商户都会多一个选择。在这之前，单一带有
VISA、Mastercard标识的卡在中国境内的POS机上是无法受理的。

BMW Finance Center有0.9%的APR，
已经被Approve了，
但是dealer说我们是non permanent resident,
需要出示Valid Visa status，
我和老婆的VISA都是明年年底过期（F1），
dealer说Auto Loan length cannot be long than the valid VISA expiration date,
所以不能从 BMW FC 贷款，
只能从外面银行贷，利息是2.9左右。
请问有没有人遇见过这种情况？
一定需要valid VISA status吗？
