经验的是最好的。PHD研究和实际的太脱节了。和硕士和有工作经验的比没一点点优势。
Verification有很多opening。有的需要PHD（不知道为什么）。作为一个PHD去做测试
太shame了吧。好像从verification跳到design的组很难很难。但是从design去测试确
是很容易。
该怎么办，verification的彻底不投了？ 专盯着design了。马上要毕业了。怎么办？
前辈请教。 |

前者比较大，后者是一个很小的组（6，7个人吧），主要负责 design on chip的power
control logic。
感觉verification组人比较多，project也多，可能爬得会快一些，但是PhD是不是就有
些浪费呢？PM这个组方向和PhD的东西更match，但是组比较小，总觉得长期发展受限制。

发帖数: 147 | 4 FPGA和CPU verification还是有蛮大区别的。做FPGA要写RTL，而且要花很多时间在lab
里，吵得很。CPU Verif的话，lab里的时间花得比较少，而且要懂很多computer
architecture,而这个是俺很感兴趣的。如果在十年前，俺就不犹豫了。当然了，CPU
Verif这个工资要高两万，但毕竟第一份工作嘛，工资没太看很重，还可以就行，更关
注的是今后的发展平台和机会 |

明申请人去美国从事相关领域工作的意图。
律师建议提供一个去美国从事相关领域工作的affidavit和研究计划，并且在petition
letter中强调说明。大家觉得这样的affidavit可以替代employment verification
letter吗？
万一因为employment verification letter而RFE，这样的RFE是不是比较容易答复？

employment verification letter的可能性比较高。
在employment verification letter中，你需要说明你现在的工作领域跟你的当初递交
的EB1B I的140上的领域是same or similar的；另外你的工资水平最好跟当初递交I-
140时的工资水平相当，如果工资有大的改变，要阐明改变的原因；job title如果有升
迁，也要说明。总之围绕一句话：这些变化都没有改变你的工作领域，你的工作领域跟
当初申请I-140上阐述的领域是same or similar的。

(1)没有交employment verification letter,也没有被要求补交就绿了的案例有
(2)没有交employment verification letter,后被要求补交的案例也有
不知道各自的概率是多少. 这个概率取决于IO上班前是否和老婆/公吵过架. |

我在国内工作过，但那是8年前啦，当时离开公司也不是很愉快。
supervisor早就不联系了。
这个能不能找同事写封信就行了，签个明。那个工作和现在的
工作没有相关性，也不需要打perm的时候写说需要工作经验。
我的理解对吗？ |

被解雇，走时想要个证明去领事馆办出国留学人员证明信，老板硬是不给开），可是系
里小蜜不给开，让找老板。去学校hr，让找系里。这个就陷入了死循环。
学校现在加入了一个叫 the work number的公司，可以让大家方便的提供这个
employment verification给别人，但是要让雇主，房东等自己用我的ssn去查。我试了
下打印自己的工作记录，结果出来个9页纸的文档，第一页写着这个是 unofficial
copy and is not intended to serve as verification for a third party. 然后还
一大堆无关的东西。
有没有同学从这个公司拿到过那种简单的，只有姓名，title，工作日期的证明的？ |
