A study published in the journal Science has shed light on 11 four-winged
fossil specimens that lived about 130 million years ago.
It says there is strong evidence, after recently excavated primitive bird
species, that the primitive species were available with four wings.
According to the Chinese paleontologists, modern-day birds have evolved from
the pre-historic birds.

根据我的经验，grouping不理想可能有这几方面的问题：
1）Anchor Point。你开弓瞄准的时候是否有清楚的Anchor Point(s)，能否保证每次都
一致。这个是top 1需要检查的。
2）Release。在用Release拉弓的时候，由于角度问题会对弓弦产生侧向拉力。能否保
证每次的角度都一致？我用的Release的咬合头可以做360度旋转，这在一定程度上保持
我手的拉力和对弓弦扭力每次都一致。
3）Rest，我现在和以前的弓都是drop off Rest，但是如果你用的Rest和箭之间在放箭
后有接触，那么这个是主要因素之一。
4）Peep sight。Peep sight的圈大小会影响到grouping。打猎用的peep圈都选择较大
的，主要是考虑在光线不足的时候效果。但是peep圈大会造成瞄准时产生误差。这个类
似枪上的瞄准镜。要保证你每次从peep看出去的是正圆。
5）箭。虽然我们的箭看上去都一样，但是它们还是有细节差距的。你看看是否有某几

coming with the package. You can ignore if your plan is a 10-20 yard harvest.
1. How far is the range? Grouping at 10 yard doesn't imply you get such
consistency at 20, 30, 40 ... yards. Here are the things in your package
that I think could contribute to inconsistency at longer ranges:
a. Arrow rest. Please choose drop away rest over whisker biscuit. At 10

发帖数: 7016 | 12 箭上原来的vane，用指甲或者刀片把一头稍挑起来一点，用手指揪住一扯就下来了。
而相比之下，用这个loctite super glue粘的牢固得我自己都难以置信。粘水后我不知
道，昨天费了好大功夫一点点把它割下来刮下来。
也许是不同的superglue有区别，但这个loctite super glue让我领教了。如果想要牢
固，可以试试这个。现在这个是水剂，我准备再去买一个gel，可以更好控制均匀用量。
至于浸水和太阳晒，我要试试才知道。不过看这个牢固程度应该不存在这个问题。 |

发帖数: 7016 | 13 整了一个loctite ultra gel control. 这下用量可以控制到很好，不再有很多的溢出。
用手能抠下来的是原来买来的箭上的vane，复合弓用了这么久也没有啥事。现在粘上后
用手指不可能弄下来。
嗯，再练２个月到猎季了，看它能不能挺住。 |

螺旋式的。 |

发帖数: 7016 | 16 我用的ARIZONA EZ FLETCHING，粘VANE挺好的，但据说不推荐用来粘羽毛。因为它的缝
是固定的，要夹毛。
bitzenburger好像是比较传统一点的jig，是用夹子夹住往箭杆上粘，个人觉得粘羽毛
应该没有问题。 |

hunting place at 5am. Unfortunately the warden didn't open the gate till 6:
15am. We joked that probably it was because of the government shutdown.
I was first to enter the field. Went to the same hill slope where I shot two
deer last year. The woods were dense. Maximum visibility was about 30yd.

about his head because obscured by twig and leaves. I aimed at just behind
his front leg.
Since it was spot and stalk, he was aware of my presence. We stared at each
other for good 10min.
If you saw my post at qiangyou, I took a picture from his view point. I was
just behind the three tree trunks.
I thought 4" grouping should be ok at 30yd. Still lot of room to improve.

现在主流的cam-phaser都是第二代（基于螺管的）和第三代（Vane Type）
都需要复杂的油路系统，一是本身有一点功率损耗，二是油路也是潜在的可靠性杀手
更新的cam-phaser都想想法减少对油路的依赖
一个思路是电动，Nissan和Toyota的一些高端引擎上在用（但都是用在某一侧）
另一个思路就是靠凸轮轴本身的扭矩，凸轮轴驱动气门
所以凸轮压迫气门时凸轮轴受负扭矩，离开气门时
气门在弹簧作用下复进，凸轮轴得到正扭矩
用好了，只靠这点扭矩就能实现对cam-phaser的精确控制
这个思路我觉得是非常巧妙的 |
