发帖数: 26 | 4 之前在加拿大工作过一年多，临回国前拿到亚麻家AWS的offer，亚麻的HR说的有个
backup Plan，如果H1B没拿到，给plan B，去温哥华先干一年然后再给transfer.
H1B一如意料中的没抽中，问amazon的recruiter plan B怎么安排的，第一次问，知道
原来的recruiter辞职了，换了个人联系，N久没消息，第二次问，直接转recruiter的
manager 给回了，说之前的又辞职了。。好不容易联系上Vancouver的一个大妈
recruiter，超热情地给我打了个电话，聊得很好，说很快就能安排好了。
然后又连着好几周没消息，发了几封信问，一周多后大妈给回了，说她去vacation了，
it was lovely!!-- 我的事情就说still working on potential positions，之后又开
始杳无音讯了。
最近，总部的recruiter又让我跟北京的HR谈谈。。一来，北京没有AWS，二来，媳妇儿
在美国书还没念完。
想求助板上大神。有没有在加国的同胞可以帮个忙。

自己从没从那儿转过，不知道好不好转，要不要办入关手续之类的，还是等到了休斯顿
再办入关手续。

持中国护照，满足以下所有条件，在YVR机场转机过境不用签证：
1，持有有效的美国签证
2，乘 加航 飞机从 京、沪、港 直飞温哥华
3，于到达YVR当天就转飞往美国（去美国可以是任意公司的航班）
4，到达时间是4:30am-10:00pm, 飞往美国可以不在这个时段内。 |

- 797 原件
- 5cmx5cm相片 (我自己扫描的相片提交在online-ds160表上的被认为 not properly
scanned, 正好我带了底片交给他们重新扫描一遍就好了; US Consulate Vancouver 里
面也有 photo-booth机器, 付10加币可得4张相片)
- Verification of Employment letter
- recent pay stubs
- recent bank statements
- 2011报税表
按上面顺序实际上VO只看到VoE时就Approve了。
此次签证之前的状况是 H1B visa过期而I94未过期；
交护照时上面一直都订着这张I94的，按以前的理解 auto re-validation 是以没有申
请新的visa为前提，而申请新的visa时就会注销这张I94; 但实际上领护照时发现这张
I94还在；
后来从Victoria回Seattle入境美国时我还问了为什么没有重新发I94,被告知新的visa

to look at it.
Just two questions:
Where are you come from?
Are you working?
Then let me drove through.
So I still keep all my I-94s.
My wife, when she went to a meeting last year by plane. Her F-1 I-94 was
taken away. But she keep the original H-1 94. They did not stam on it
for some reason. And they did not give her a new I-94. You know, sometime
those officers are not even sure what to do.

$700，全包（水电，网络）
很干净也很安静。交通不是很方便，虽然有路公车，但是觉得每个路口都停，所以有车
才行。
我们住在楼上，房东是一个人（觉得他人还不错，所以才帮他贴），除了周末，基本见
不到他人。

发帖数: 279 | 35 我目前住的是2 bedroom 的房子，因为室友毕业了，所以有间大房子空了出来，想找个合租的。你现在就可以搬进来，你可以不用签lease,直接住进来就行。
这里交通很方便，离winco,walmart,公交站都很近，只需两分钟的路程。有直达wsu的公交站。
房租是380dollars一个月，水电共同承担。
不过希望合租室友没有抽烟酗酒爱好，讲究卫生。
