I was interested in continuing a project that is done by a previous lab
member from a collorating lab. And both my PI and the colloroting PI
support me on this. And I had notebooks from the collaborating PI for that
project.
I am shocked to find that the previous lab member just made up data to have

I am shocked to find that the previous lab member just made up data to have
the work published. It is impossible for me to continue from where he
stoped. This guy is a faculty now in another university.

But it seems like most of people in the market today is expecting a better
unemployment data tomorrow, that is why the market opened high and stayed
higher throughout the day
Hope the market is right that there is a better number tomorrow
Technically, the market(SPY) has proved its support on 130-131, so I don't
think there will be sharp decline to break through that level. There is
just too much free money on the side line waiting for fishing the bottom.

过去了，花街早就料到，开始扫货了，继续下跌的可能不大。就算按照他们修正后的
EPS guidance $7来算，医药界平均的P/E ratio也是32左右（VRX应该是业界的领先者
了,用平均值来算应该已经很保守了），所以理论上VRX“应该”是200以上的股票的，可
是现在P/E ratio才4都不到，严重低估了10倍呀，这就是Ackman坚信自己投资的原因。
除非是VRX有fraud（现在看来已经排除这种可能）, 要不就是花街的那套价值理论出了
问题，否则，VRX怎么看都不应该是只20多块钱的股票。退一万步来看，让我们忘记VRX
是一只200的股票（可能一两年内回不去了），但一只$30以下的股票with EPS $7,你认
为合理吗？如果这个比例合理的话，花街上绝大多数的上市公司可以关门大吉了，股票
也就失去了存在的意义了。为什么会有人愿意高价来buy out,而VRX又敢于拒绝？原因
就是一个字”Valule"，投资最终是会理性的会回归价值的 |

slot valule的总和的5%, 否则会被罚掉下一年的首轮签。 至于一个球队对每个顺位
bonus的分配就没有限制了，只对总和有限制。 |

I mean the data include both categorical and numerical variables? or other
points to support choosing logistic?
AND how did you express " how to do variable selection" -->
did you mention criteria : p-valule or other ; method: stepwise or other
