attribute it to debt.
The reason I Pick VA is because VA has less debt compared to big players AAL
, DAL etc. In fact, small airliners usually carry less burden than big ones
due to historical reasons (工会害死人）.
VA has around 400M cash flow while its debt is around 100M. Correct me if I
am wrong ( I cannot remember these numbers precisely). AAL, last year its
debt accumulated to 10B （Yes, it is 10B). |

当时开车从北卡去华盛顿接国内来的亲戚，由于堵车，赶时间，
正好85上有一段路几乎没车，空旷无比，就开的快了点。也没
注意看速度盘，结果在Dinwiddie被当地的小警察抓了。限速
70，被抓91。虽然我开的有点快，但这91我是不愿意承认的，
直到现在都觉得被警察陷害了。
VA的特殊：
VA是一个对超速管的非常严重的州。很容易给reckless driving。
而且这个罪名不同于其他州。在其他州，reckless driving也就是
扣点罚款而已，最多吊销驾照，而在VA，reckless driving是犯罪，
甚至比吸毒还严重，最高可以判2500美元罚款并且1年监禁。只要
超速20 mile或者超过90 mile就会给reckless driving。而且抓
超速是这个州的主要财政收入之一。同时也可以看得出，警察
给我的这个91是很有学问的。只要是89，他就最多只能给我
speeding ticket。而他偏偏给我91，90都似乎太假了。
那么我该怎么办呢？
看到有人自己辩护，我很佩服，也想效仿，但最后咨询了多个美国朋友
和一些美国的论坛后，发现在VA被抓是非请律师不可 |

You also need to pay MD income tax since your income is MD sourced.
However, MD and VA has agreement, you only need to pay VA income tax.
You will need to file MD return to get the withholding back. |

以台湾，福建，广东省的人为住。一类是是新移民，是80年代以后过来的，来自祖国的
五湖四海。
在VA，老移民大多住在ARLINGTON，在FAIRFAX要少一些。在MD，老移民大多住在
MONTGOMERY，以SILVER SPRING，ROCKVILLE为中心。总体来说，MD的老移民比VA多。
在VA，新移民大多住在FAIRFAX，大多在MCLEAN，VIENNA，RESTON，HERDON这几个CITY
。在MD，新移民大多住在MONTGOMERY，以ROCKVILLE，POTOMAC为中心。感觉上，MD的新
移民数量和VA差不多。
对不起，我不是很了解DC的情况。
我建议你在POTOMAC/ROCKVILLE和MCLEAN建点，交通方便，人员密集。

You did not ask about another state you plan to travel (maybe MD), so I
suggest you check with which ever state you plan to visit (but I am 99% sure
the answer should be yes)
So you should never need to check with VA DMV for your question of "VA的残趴

警察开的超速罚单，从法律上的理解应是执法者认为超速威胁到了公共安全，这就是法
律上有即使你超速1 mph , 如果当值警员认为你威胁了行驶安全，他也可以开单子到法
庭告你。在VA是认罪后，罚款加扣点，没有交了罚款就不扣点（至少对本州人是如此）
，因为点数是DMV管理的，跟法庭没关系。
如果你如果不是VA的司机，我就不知道了。希望不扣点。VA有一个比较可笑的法律，就
是严重超速，如果是本州司机，罚款达到1200，但同样的情况外州司机只罚款225. 因
为VA对外州司机在某些方面是没有jurisdiction的。 |

来的,涨几个%都在表上写着.
VA福利好但是如果你要享受福利的话必须是FULL TIME.part time都没什么好的
福利,PRN更是啥都没有.其它非VA医院倒是有福利给PRN的员工.我的医给PRN的人
match养老金,还可以报销一些学费. |

以前在NIH混过，当时老板雇了两种Technician,一种是Gov employee，另一种是
contract，都是美国人，前者上班时就是一杯咖啡一张报纸，4点一到就不见踪影。 后
者早去晚归，因为他们的合同每年都要renewal，项目没了就没饭碗。
我觉得VA应该改成contract， 或者让veteran拿类似medicare的保险比方说tricare到
非官方诊所看病，费用估计不会比拥有VA这个系统费钱。 |

我每周在va和nc之间打来回， 从nc到va的一段路从海拔1k到200，限速65，几乎每次
都能看到有被pull over的，有几次警车从后面抄过来，卡在我和前面的车中间，把前
面的车抓了，真的很虚
那个车也就73左右
那条路真的很难不超速，大卡车下坡都是压着67 68的速度开，卡车在后面跟着，很有压迫感，一般小车都是70，条子7273就开始抓人。wtf

是超速了10MPH，一个是19MPH。之后一直很小心，11年搬到VA来以后，还是着了条子的
道，在12年三月和八月分别吃了两张超速的罚单，一张21MPH，一张19MPH。
因为吃罚单的地方很远，所以在犹豫是否要上庭，请问下：
如果我不上庭，直接交罚单的话，会不会因为我够了四张罚单而吊销我的驾照，还是只
算我在VA的两张，谢谢大家。

我gps限速还是55，后面警察就追上来了，说限速35我开到了61，给了一张罚单。
限速35开到61是挺严重的了
四月份在NC限速65的地方开到81被抓过一次
我看到NC驾照书上有这么一句话：“two convictions of speeding over 55 mph
within a period of 12 months”
VA这次8月份上庭，如果不上庭的话选择缴费$61也行。请问我是不是需要请个律师上庭
？如果我人在外州，请律师代表上庭可以吗？请推荐靠谱的律师？
