全美超模大赛节目简介
全美超模大赛（America's Next Top Model，简称ANTM）是近来最热的一套以模特选举为题材的真人秀节目。节目由美国电视、脱口秀主持人、知名模特儿泰雅·班克斯（Tyra Banks）主持，她也担任了ANTM的评委。该新秀大赛由2003年开始在UPN电视网络播放，2006年由于UPN和WB电视台合并成The CW，故由第七季起改为The CW播放。每周，超模Tyra Banks和其他评委们都会通过残酷的模特挑战和摄影照片中淘汰其中一位女孩，直到选出最后的美国超级模特儿。

town that I first live in USA, there was no WB local station. WB station
located in a bigger city 100 miles away can be watched through local cable
TV. a little like FOX in early 1990s, when small town TV markets had no FOX
stations. But around 2000, FOX had coverage in every TV market in the USA

captains. LC can't do anything more than that. And it all depends upn
whether there is any captain want to take new player. So the best way is to
make friends with some captains and then tell them that you are willing to
sub if there is any open slot and you don't care about # of games to play.

they pitched it to upn and a couple of other US
musical stations, but nobody bot.
so they went back uk and got a successflu show called
pop stars.
then simon's brother and another guy tried again
on abc/nbc/cbs, actually twice on abc. but they passed.
fox was interested, but no money. later their big boss,
who married that chinese lady,
knew it from his daughter and ordered fox to buy the show.
fox saw uk's show and found simon's bad mouth was a must. |

NEW YORK (AP) -- The CW network canceled the cult hit "Veronica Mars" and
will try to pick up steam in its second year with series about the snobby
rich, transplanted families and a bounty hunter for the devil.
The network, created out of the ashes of the former WB and UPN, had already
ended the long-running family dramas "7th Heaven" and "Gilmore Girls." On
Thursday the ax fell on "Veronica Mars," which starred Kristen Bell as a
wisecracking teenage private eye.
