至少4票同意审理,肯定会介入。
当年审理Loving v Virginia的时候,尚有17个州禁止黑白通婚。眼下很快就只有最
多15个州禁止同性婚姻,在这种情况下,肯尼迪大法官投票支持同性婚姻的可能是很
大的。这也将会是他的legacy。

目前已有的其他巡迴法院判決,
都是推翻了各種ban的,
巡迴法院之間的判例有“推薦性”。
基本上現在的形式是巡迴法院裁決這些ban違憲,
高院到時候連順水推舟都不必了。
今早的NPR還說,同性婚姻這事兒排山倒海,
共和黨咋就不說話了嘞?
是放棄抵抗了咩?

Though this new development may sound like a roadblock to marriage equality
for the four involved states (for now), it is highly likely to become a
catalyst for the SCOTUS to issue the much-anticipated nationwide ruling so
as to strike down same-sex marriage ban ONCE AND FOR ALL. People should be

1. The disclosure requirements were upheld, so any spending
more than $10k must disclose the source, and
2. The Court did not specifically address whether there can
be a law specifically prohibiting foreign corporations from
spending on political propaganda, because it's out of

McLEAN, Va. (AP) — The IRS on Tuesday lost a federal appeal in a legal
battle over its effort to institute competency exams and other new
regulations for as many as 700,000 paid tax preparers.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of
Columbia unanimously upheld a lower court's ruling last year that the IRS
lacked authority to impose the new rules without congressional authorization.

who claims she was physically removed from her car and thrown in jail for a
night — all for what the sheriff’s deputy described as the “felony”
crime of recording their traffic stop conversation.
