the 32 bits version, it seems a new update of something
comes up every couple of days. But since I installed the
64 bits, there's no update come up at all in a week.
Not even immediately after the system was installed (which
means there had been no update in several months).
Is this normal? Or must there be a mistake in my yum set up?

This is NOT normal if you installed f11 from dvd iso. It should be normal
for internet install.
Maybe your yum isn't updated. Try to run "yum update yum" first then "yum
update". |

我的windows xp pro是一年前用学校提供的cd安装的，这是microsoft和学校协议下提供
给学生的edu license copy，绝对是100%正版。前两天xp照常自动update之后，今天开机
竟然说我这个xp不是正版的，要我购买正版后才能继续升级。
在网上看到一些类似的讨论，不过大多数是关于盗版xp怎么逃过这次update中内置的正版
检测的。不过我的本来就是正版，为什么会被当作盗版？？大家有什么建议吗？谢谢！ |

最近电脑中毒，不得不重装电脑。重整之后windows update，无论如何都没法装
service pack 2，不管是在windows update的网页上做，还是从microsoft那边当下来
，自己装。总是在安装差不多一半的时候终止，access denied，error message
0x80070005。自己google过，没解决问题。请高手指教。

原定3个小时和3个supervisors各面试1个小时，但是前2个就2个半小时，然后director
出现，想带上几个主管一起到外面吃个午饭，顺便和我谈谈，我想大概是临时决定来把
把关吧。主要是看重method development经验，关心如何处理team work,t谈谈自己的
长处，又问觉得自己有何弱点(这当然是圈套不能自己招供).要给出具体的经历关于现
在的工作。举出自己的实际例子来说明自己troubleshooting能力，如何处理和主管的
分歧，为啥要离开现在的单位，自己的职业目标是啥，怎样处理来自客户的要求，最后
都问有啥问题想问(当然要事先想好几个问题再根据具体情况问不同的问题).说到最后
，嘴都不听使唤了。来到机场候机，回到家得半夜1点了，明天还上班，中午还有一个
电面，好累，感觉不错，可惜不是跟着我的感觉走，完了就完了，该准备下一个了，谢
谢大家的祝福，大概，写下这些作为回报，也祝大家好运。

July 06 update 我早上11点左右把简历发给reference，被告知已经收到电话查了reference了，HM早上打电话过去问的，比我预期中快。开始有点紧张了。。。
July 07 update, HR打电话给了offer了，title比想象中低一点，工资跟想象中差不多。 接下来要忙论文了，祝大家找工作都顺顺利利！

update：今天去了NTB，他们真是非常慢，等了2个小时，修两个轮胎弄了差不多1个小
时，最后说法是
轮胎没事，但是wheel上面有锈，除锈重新seal，并且重新换了stem valve，重新
balance了，最
后是$25一个胎……
还是挺贵的说，不过要是真给我把问题搞定了，我也就认了……接下来两周会继续

发现他们的是一个美国家庭，在深夜。但是奇怪的是，游泳池看起来并不小，灯光也很暗，他们是如何发现有人溺水的呢？
事件发身在密苏里州。我的同学，和老公外出旅游。入住旅馆后在晚间决定去旅馆的游
泳池游泳，深夜被发现溺亡于游泳池中。家属觉得很蹊跷，两个人都是20多岁，旅馆的
游泳池也不会太深，为什么会双双溺亡。但是警方调查后认为只是意外死亡。可以向旅
馆以安全措施不到位为由起诉要求担负责任吗？
